Works great. Beep usually gets his attention.
Love the safety feature as well. If you go to beep, vibrate, or shock you have to push the button 2x if remote is off. This prevents false positives of accidentally hitting remote. Once the remote is on you only need to hit the button once. Remote will auto shutoff after ~60 seconds or so. Anyways is a great product for a great price and has lots of range which I need for my hound who loves to run long distances/explore while camping.

Great product!
Great product! Used for a few years with my large dog. Only negative part is the battery life isn't accurate. I have not changed the remote since I bought it almost 3 years ago. And I've had to charge the collar every other day even when on stand by. Other than that it functioned the way it is supposed to.

When it works, it’s great *UPDATED*
I wasn’t sure about using an e-collar for my GSD puppy, but it has been very effective. The problem is that sometimes it just doesn’t work. I push the button, no beep, no buzz (I have only used the “shock” twice- haven’t needed it more). Typically, if I let it go back to sleep and try again, it will work. But 6 months later, it only works about half the time. I love the beep/vibrate/shock options. Most of the time, the beep is enough. It’s been really effective in getting her attention when she’s focused on something else. Edited to add: The seller contacted me regarding the issues with the remote. They worked through some troubleshooting steps and sent a replacement when the issues continued.

It works and stays charged. Not harmful to your puppy
Great for training puppies. Stays charged all day. For the money it’s great. See no reason to spend a lot of money. Only drawback i was expecting two collars and two shockers. But for the money I’m happy and would recommend for all puppy owners. We are still working on counter surfing!!

Would recommend
I have a strong headed Australian Shepard. This works on him . I only have to vibrate him . The battery life is great and it does its job . For the price it is worth it . We live next to a lake with people coming and going all the time and a very curious puppy . He is learning and learning fast from this .

Too weak for a large dog
I have a husky 16 week old puppy I don't know why there is 99 levels because even at Max output output did not even phase my dog he didn't even look like he was being shocked to the point where I kept taking it off and checking it with the included led just to make sure it was working. This might work OK for a smaller dog or a dog with shorter hair But as far as a large dog with long hair this thing is useless. It would not even stop him from digging a hole in the yard. I was pressing the button and he never even looked up until I told him no. It was $35 and the new one I bought was $110 but I can tell the difference. Don't let the 99 levels fool you like they did me. All the other ones I was looking at had less power setting. Also the tone is a joke it is about as loud as an old timex watch, the dog dose not even look up when pressed. So once again Maybe if you have a smaller dog but my puppy is only 34 pounds at the time so it would have to be maybe a dog 20 pounds. Well under what they claim this can be used for. I would stay far away from this product

Needs on/off option
Would be nice if it had the option to turn it off so that you don't accidentally mash a button while it's in your pocket

Well worth the purchase
The collars are sturdy and the reflective black/yellow collar is nicely visible in low light. The e-unit has 3 areas where the collar goes through so if 1 breaks you don't have an ineffective unit. FunniPets also makes it easy to replace or upgrade simply by ordering the parts individually. My pup has no issues with wearing it anytime. Display control unit is light and compact with a display that is easy to read. You can carry the controller either on belt with clip or with the lanyard. Lanyard is 2 pieces: 1, connects to controller and 2, goes around neck. Controlling multiple units is easy and worth having 1 extra so one is being worn and 1 is ready for another pup.
