After an excited wait, my lamps arrived today! Everything was well packed, and I had prepared the space in anticipation of their arrival. Once unpacked, I placed them, added bulbs from the old lamps, and turned them on.To my dismay, the ugly light-bulbs were hanging well below the bottom of the shade! At eye level, they looked horrible! I began to wish that the shades went a tad lower, then decided to look for a better light bulb! None of the decorative bulbs seems to be right, believe me I spent some time on that. The spiral energy efficient light-bulbs are RIGHT OUT, don't even try it. Globes look bad too. It's so ugly it detracts horribly from this beautifully designed lamp. Then I realized that what was needed was just a plain straight tubular light bulb. I took a pair from the aquarium, and tried them out. VOILA!!The answer is here... not designer bulbs but plain straight up tubular bulbs. In clear or frosted. (Pack Of 6) 60-Watt T10 Frost Tubular Incandescent Medium (E26) Base 120-Volt Light Bulb They are totally inconspicuous, and now that that's been solved, I am DELIGHTED with this addition to my home. They are GORGEOUS!!

I have end tables with marble tops, the marble inserts in these lamps match them exactly (I believe the common name for this dark brown marble is "Emperador"). Easy to assemble, beautiful victorian style lamps. The 2 lights make them versatile. I think if I had to make any recommendations: sitting on the end table, if you are sitting next to them you have to looks up and the bulbs are very bright. Perhaps a lower shade? And I think all lamps should have USB built into the base these days.

I LOVE these lamps!! I have a formal living room with cherry wood/tapestry victorian look furniture and these lamps are just the thing to match! I really like the double bulbs too, which give me the option of bright or dull lighting. They're so fancy, I feel spoiled when I enter the room. They were an anniversary gift from my husband of 22 years.

I am very happy with my lamps. I am also very happy with the service I received from Lamps Plus. I had a small issue with two of my lamp shades but Lamps Plus responded immediately to my emails and continued to stay in contact via email. The issue was resolved. I give 10 stars on my lamps (I love them) and I give 10 stars for customer service.

These are very nice looking lanps. My only negative is that the shades are not quite long enough so if you’re sitting on a sofa with the lamp on a side table the light bulb is visible and uncomfortable to look at. I had to put in smaller, dimmer bulbs

Love these lamps! They are even more beautiful than the pic shown on Amazon. The shades are a pearly off-white. The subtle “swirls/veins” in the glass add to the look. Lamps bases are heavy, well made. Super easy to assemble. Highly recommend!

BeautifulQuality made lampI look for lamps for months, going in and out of stores and these were just perfect for my decor. At $100 each it was a real bargain.

Love these. They were a little larger than I thought, but fit perfectly on my dining room buffet.
