Easy
Easy to Mount and you don’t have to change the batteries. Just replace the whole thing. I prefer this over the ones you need to replace the batteries every year. One less thing to think about. I did use this one to replace an older model. It did start randomly going off, I guess that is even you know to change it. Not sure tbh

SLIM - 10 YEAR BATTERY
Slim profile, 10 year battery, voice alert scare during set-up and testing - you think there is CO2 in the air and or/smoke - only testing it's 'voice'. If you are quick enough it can be set to announce a certain room, in my case I wasn't so it says master bedroom in living room, doubt I can change it. Nice unit, bought along with this brand's non-talking model. 5-STARS

Looking for a rude awakening?
Do not recommend. The alarm would go off for a few seconds, I would fly out of bed and, by the time I could walk out of the bedroom, it would stop. Why is it almost always in the middle of the night?! It would leave me in anticipation that it would go off again. The klaxon definitely will wake you and ring in your ears afterwards - so, that part is good if you are unfortunate enough to have the alarm go off, legitimately.I followed all the directions for placement and did trouble shooting (many times) when getting the initial false alarms. But, it was just warming up, because it set a false smoke alarm one night and it wouldn’t stop! The reset button would not work. Unable to silence it! No batteries to remove, something that was supposed to be great but turned out not to be an advantage. The only thing that could be done was to deactivate it. After many disturbances and a lot of time trying to make it happy in its new home, I gave up. It’s dead now. It was only up for a month and a half.

Great when it works
Had to return the first one because it was not operating correctly right out of the box. But the replacement came quickly, ready, and working. East to install.

Great product that helps to keep you safe at home with both smoke and CO2 detectors in one. And no battery beeping or changing as they come with a 10 year battery installed.
