I was advised to change the ballast when fitting a new bulb so bought this to fit to a 2013 Audi S5. Part number matched but after fitting it, along with a new bulb, when first switched on the light flickered. After about a week, the light stopped working completely. Fitted the original 9 year old genuine one that I'd taken out and all back to working as it should. By the time I'd thought about it, it was too late to return for a refund too.

Never worked, took it to the garage who fitted a genuine one and said they experience v high failure rates with cheap alternatives. Just sayin

Xenon headlight failed on my 2016 Golf GTD due to a faulty ballast. VW wanted £300+ for the genuine part and the company my work uses for parts at a discounted rate (I'm a mechanic) wanted something like £280. I found this after a very quick search and the part number is the exact same as the genuine part that I replaced. It works perfectly AND for a tenth of the price. Been going strong for nearly a couple months now and no signs of it failing soon. 10/10

Purchased this cheap ballast and wish I never bothered. It started to throw faults after a few hours on the vehicle. If I turned ignition off and back on it would be ok for a while but just kept giving faults. Tried to live with it but it was too much. Bit the bullet and got an original one at a reduced price. Returned this for a refund.

I bought this item and wish I hadn't now I fitted the ballast and when I plugged the cable in it didn't connect properly and when I went over a speed hump it came out and wasn't registering, so malfunction on dip light came up on my dash so had to by another.
