Small and fiddly as you'd expect for 00 guage. Figures are detailed and colourful. They make a lovely addition to my modrl train scene.

As Expected but...
... the amount of unnecessary packaging sends Hornby's carbon footprint through the stratosphere! Is a packet that of size actually necessary for such a small collection of small figures?! Answer: No! Come on Hornby, get with the 21st Century, we're trying to save the planet here!

Grandsons
I bought a station for a train set and to enhance the look I bought this set. Just those few items changed the look of the station. Will be definitely be getting more similar to this to keep my grandsons happy
