Looks Fantastic
This was one of the first things I wanted to do to my new jeep. Unfortunately I had to wait a while due to finances. I received my item yesterday and installed it today. This was my experience! The product is a nice thick durable material. It feels nice in your hands and looks like it will last quite a while. Install was a little tricky for me personally- because my Jeep is 25 years old. I'm not sure how long the screws have been in place for my factory gas area. The screws are rusted and I had a hand screwdriver. If you've never broken a screw inside of something, count yourself lucky. Because I've done that before… I was extremely slow and very careful. I removed the four screws on the outside of my ring and the four screws underneath the gas cap. I removed my old gas cap area and popped in the new. This gas cap cover had to be wiggled into place. I was unable to remove the cover from the rest of the housing. So I installed it as one piece. I loosened the four screws around the outside like the instructions said but was afraid I would bend or break the cap off. I left it as one piece and simply wedged it into place. I had no issues after that. I put the four screws (provided in the package) on the inside where the gas cap goes to secure it to where you fill your gas. Once those were attached I took an allen key and tightened back the four screws on the outside. With the way that I installed it, I likely could have just left those on the whole time. The instructions told me to take them off and I am a person who listens to instructions LOL As this is the first day of it being put on I haven't filled up any gas or driven with it yet. I will update my review accordingly if anything happens. My gas cap does not lock. (I also didn't buy the locking one) However it looks a lot better! I'm hoping that the color does not fade, but for the price I paid I think it's worth it overall. It gives it a very clean look and it makes the Jeep seem... Classier? I'm not sure yet. Definitely more updated looking than before.

Gas tank cover for Jeep
Great product is it to install. Made of heart material that will last and looks great on my Jeep. I did shop around a little bit and for the money I think this is a pretty good deal. Instructions were pretty easy to follow and understand and it took me no more than 15 minutes to install.

Easy Install
Put this on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with ease! 8 screws to get off old one and 4 to install this one and it improved the look! Door is not the most sturdy, but the gas cap is still there, so no big deal.

Quick and easy to install on a Wrangler TJ.
I'm very pleased with this filler door. The plastics around my fuel cap on my older '98 TJ had gotten cracked and faded over the years. This fuel door was a great replacement. As others have mentioned...the instructions were somewhat complicated - but the process to install this was simple. Basically remove the 4 screws on the outside of the existing fuel fill plastics, then remove the 4 screws nearest the gas cap on the existing fuel fill plastics. The old plastics come out easily after removal of these 8 screws - the new fuel door then replaces it and is attached to only the 4 screws nearest the gas cap. The door looks great and seems to be sturdy, so it should hold up for years to come.

Looks nice But needed to dremel off some metal
Looks slick but needed to dremel off some metal from the Jeep itself. The door wouldn’t open or close if not. It seems like it’s descent chinesium metals and it’s powder coated. It will definitely do. Just beware you may need to remove material from your actual Jeep. I am running a 2004 TJ. Good value for the money, good color and seems to be durable and performs. Alignment isn’t proper for 2004 TJ.

Much better than expected. Solid aluminum. Easy to install.
The instructions make it seem difficult to put in, but they are overkill. They have you removing the rear turn signal so you can put your hand behind the unit when putting in the screws. No need. Simply remove the 4 screws on the original outer ring, and the 4 screws on the inside near the fuel bung. I used a power driver w/phillips. The, put the new one in place and start the inner screws to assure everything is lined up...once all 4 inner screws are in place, you push the entire unit in and it snaps in place. The tighten the 4 inner screws and you are done. Took all of 4 minutes and it looks great. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Quality was really nice. But it did not fit for my TJ 2002 (GCC). that's why I had to return it.

This is a great product if your looking to add aesthetic improvement to your Jeep. Fairly easy to install, was a little confusing at the start as not the best instructions however without instructions it installed very easily. Its much better quality than the stock one aswell being this is a textured metal that looks great. Its only a small thing on the car but it made quite a large difference in the looks of the car. Also you don't need the bolts it comes with as they aren't used for anything as the only bolts used are the silver Allen keys bolts and the long bolts behind the fuel cap. P.S. taking the tail-light off to install this is unnecessary and a waist of time as it is very easily installed without removing the tail-light.
