Earlier this year we moved into a home with a pool, one of our dreams come true. We had had a family member who had a large swan that would always float by in their pool and found it very peaceful. We decided to go with a floating flamingo and this one looked perfect. We purchased it online through Amazon on August 16th. We have maybe been on it twice with no rough house play or in appropriate use. I'm sad to say that within about a month one of the wings no longer stays inflated. There is no noticeable leak, hole or tear. There is probably just a small leak in the seam. I didn't catch the return window or I would have sent it back for a replacement. So if you're looking to buy I'm sad to say that I wouldn't expect it to last long.

I rode this majestic Pegasus straight into a 4 hour river battle and she prevailed! The pros: aesthetically it’s gorgeous! The material is thick and well made. Its huge! It’s comfortable too, like an air mattress. I recommend that you lay back and use its tail as a pillow. The river float we went on was pretty rocky and had class 2 rapids, but my tooshie was safe on a wondrous air filled cushion. It was the envy of everyone in our group! Cons: it is TALL and only has handles on its neck so it is REALLY hard to get back on it if you fall or jump off. I’m 5’8 and it was still a struggle. I was fighting it, rolling around in the water for 15 minutes before I figured out the only way to get on it on my own was to take it back to the shore. It also tips easy if your weight isn’t distributed evenly. So I wouldn’t recommend it for little ones. It had a small green stain on its neck when we opened the package, so that was a bit of a bummer. Wishes: I wish it had a cup holder and that it’s wings were placed a little differently so that it was easier to steer I ended up just deflating them. Overall, it was worth every penny and we created some amazing memories with it! Seriously buy one you won’t regret it!

If you're looking for subtle and practical... this ain't it. But if you're looking to make a majestic entrance into your backyard pool like the royalty you are (or at least pretend to be), the Golden Swan is your new best friend. She’s big, bold, and ridiculously fabulous. Inflated easily with a pump (don’t try with your mouth unless you want to pass out). Sturdy, glamorous, and surprisingly comfortable for long float sessions. I now refer to her as “Her Majesty” and won’t enter the pool without her. Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I trust her with my emotional baggage? Also yes. 10/10 would float again. 🦢✨
