After ordering this I then went to read the reviews. I know should of done that first but I'm glade I didn't I may not have got it. I saw a lot of people stating how bad the chemical smell was. I know my sinuses are not the best but I really didn't smell anything till I placed it right by my nose. I do also live in a rural area Western PA and a bad smell around here is cow manure. So the bar is set pretty low here. I travel a lot for work so I keep my computer bag packed and near me when at home and I still can smell it. It's just as pretty as in the pictures. I was worried about the size because I have a 17.3 inch dell, but it fits in the case well and I have room for all my cords my schedule book, Fire tablet, and other things one may need on the job. So for me I love it.

The smell is horrendous. I can’t stress that enough. I thought other reviews were exaggerating but I literally had to turn it inside out and sit it on my back porch for like two days. And the smell still didn’t go away. It’s been a few months and it’s much better now, just faint.As for functionality, it serves its purpose. The case isn’t as thick as I’d like, so be very careful with it when traveling. It comes with a pocket where I was able to store the power cord, wireless mouse, and my iPad. It’s fine for what it does. Not the best case but not the worst.

I carry about a 17.5 laptop, mouse and a bulky Lenovo cord. All fit within this bag, plus several file folders and an energy bar. It is attractive and the handles are a nice addition when you are trying to access anything. Love it and use it on a regular basis.

Pretty bag. I like the neoprene except it did have a VERY strong odor when received. I turned it inside out, hung it on my back door, and let it air out outside all night. It was much better the next day. Still some odor but tolerable. It fit my 17" computer easily with power cord and mouse and had a bit of room left over. Happy with my purchase overall. I am somewhat chemical sensitive and airing this out made it okay for me. Anyone with extreme chemical sensitivities should get something else.

This product is good, it has a lot of resistance, my laptop fits perfectly because it is 17 inches, but it has a big problem and it is that it has a strong smell, I bought it in January and left it outside the house for several weeks as some here recommended for the smell goes away, but it didn't go away, it's the end of May and the smell is still strong, I tried washing it and with odor eliminators but nothing worked, sometimes the smell diminishes but it comes back and I have to put it back outside the house again and again.

The product arrived on time and it was exactly as described- except for the horrible chemical smell. I left it outside for several days and still was unable to bring it inside the house. I called customer service- they suggested I wash it. I did and again left it outside- it did nothing - the smell was still there. Had to return it.

I had to return this because it was too big gir my laptop but I'm not sure I would have kept it even if it did fit. The smell was sho strong that it gave me a headache. Hopefully the smell would have gotten better over time but I didn't keep it long enough to find out!

i am rating this a 4 then a 5.....nice bag, but the odor of the dyes or ink used made it impossible to even be in the same room with it for two weeks after i bought it....i had to let it air out before i could even stand to be near it. Now that i have aired it out, and sprayed it with febreeze a few times, it is better.Aside from the noxious fumes, its a really nice bag, beautiful, and well made.
