The Spice Lab Rainbow Peppercorns for Grinder Refill, 1 lb Bag

I love this pepper blend and keep it in our table grinder. Very good value for the quality and freshness of the spice vs. price and excellent packaging. Recommended.

Great flavor and return on value.

In the past when I’ve bought peppercorn from the grocery store, the taste has been stale and muted. I don’t know what it is about this brand, but it is always extremely fresh and full of flavor. The price is great too! I’ve repurchased this bag of rainbow peppercorns about 2-3 times now, and am still impressed with the consistent quality. Highly recommend!

It's hard finding a good peppercorn blend living in the middle of nowhere, so we have to resort to hoping we can find the right product online. I found it on the first try, after reading reviews and attempting to parse out which ones actually knew something about cooking. This is an absolutely perfect blend of five peppercorns. I was really excited to see allspice berries added to this mix. There is a decent amount of each throughout this gorgeous, aromatic blend. Upon opening the bag, my nose was graced with a bouquet of pepper I was prepared to grind for a roast rub, and it certainly did not disappoint upon being able to pick up the subtle flavors following a run in the smoker. This blend combines really well with some celtic sea salt, mixing nicely with both the salty and lightly sweet flavor of the seasoning. I use freshly ground peppercorns in a lot of my cooking and for everyday use. This will be marked as a regular staple for my spice pantry. The flavor profile is perfect for just about anything I would use pepper for, whether ground or just cracked corns, and is of excellent quality in regards to its price point.

It's a nice blend, but a big part of buying this is for the colors, and the reds and greens just aren't as plentiful or as vibrant as the product images might make you think and it doesn't make the visual impact that I was hoping for...

I like this blend a lot more than just black peppercorns. I use it to season individual meal servings, and it adds better flavor notes with a little extra kick. I’d use it for cooking more often if I took the time to grab my KitchenAid spice grinder and make a bigger batch, but even using it fresh as needed has been great. This mixed peppercorn blend definitely has more depth and tastes better than plain black peppercorn.

Great taste and smell

Just came today, 7/21/26. Have not tried it, but I know we will LOVE it! Great assortment of colors.
