Why caffeine? Only 4 nighttime capsules. All non drowsy though.
Gave me a stomach bloating upset, and unfortunately it wasn't very effective for me either. I took 2 nighttime capsules. The maximum dose is 8 capsules in 24 hours, with 2 daytime capsules during the day and 2 nighttime capsules before bed. Max amount an adult can have is 8 capsules in a 24-hour period. The main difference seems to be that the daytime capsules contain 25mg of caffeine, whereas the nighttime capsules contain none. What I don't understand is the logic behind the caffeine. A 25mg caffeine boost feels negligible to me. If I wanted caffeine with my paracetamol, I could simply have a coffee in the morning, which would provide considerably more caffeine. For me, it just feels like an unnecessary addition to the daytime capsules. Another thing worth noting is the pack contents. Out of the 16 capsules, only 4 are nighttime capsules, while 12 are daytime capsules. Since I mainly wanted something suitable for evening and nighttime use, that feels quite limiting. The capsule packaging also isn't great. When pushing the capsules out of the foil, they can be crushed accidentally, which feels like a poor design choice. The good points are that the capsules were easy to swallow, and they did eventually seem to work, although they took longer than my usual medication prescribed by my doctor. But again had to go through a bloating process, [could just be me though] For me, this product is a bad idea for two reasons: - The capsule format and packaging. - Adding caffeine to the daytime capsules. Value for money is a huge let-down as well. What would make this product better: - Include only nighttime capsules in the pack, so remove the caffeine and let people decide for themselves whether they want a caffeinated drink alongside their medication. - Improve the blister packaging, so capsules don't crush as easily. For my needs, this wasn't a product I would buy again. Do better, Lemsip.

Next to useless.
The day version of these might be okay if you're happy to go through a box of tissues in three hours, but the night version is useless. It's 0350, and I haven't slept a wink since taking two at 2230 and going to bed the same time!
