Smooth Taste Excellent Value for High Quality
I love that there is no bitter astringency to this product and I will continue to purchase it. It's even better than the Korean Dried Ginseng I used to buy in NYC Chinatown until that dealer went out of business. I wasn't sure it would be worth the price, but it is excellent and I'm boiled more and drinking more Ginseng every day now because of the high quality flavor. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Appears to be good quality the right amount
It's good, dark fresher red panax ginseng. I did not weigh the amount of ginseng in the box, but believe it is a right and fair amount compared to what I get in Chinese markets. The box does have a base of bubble wrap. That makes it appear in pictures that there's more ginseng in the box than there is.

As long as this is real Gin Shen, it's worthy money!
I purchased this Gin Shen online. First time to purchase Red Gin Shen online. Compared to other Korean seller, this one is from China. I am not so this is authentic Gin Shen or not. But if this is, this really worth money to buy because the size is so big and the color is so dark, compared to the other Korean seller's. I know China produce Gin Shen in Zhang Bai Mountain, hope this comes from there and have the same medicine value as the red Gin Shen made in Korea

This is real sliced Ginseng root.
This is sliced Ginseng root. It is sliced for you already so consider that into the price, so it is a good buy. If you buy whole ginseng root, to slice it, what is commonly done by Asian herbal stores. They place the roots in an oven with high moisture. When warmed up like this, it is sliced while it is very warm. Otherwise it is very hard to cut. If you do this, only warm up the root, no more than that so you don't cook out the properties. Buying sliced Ginseng root, they have done this for you professionally. * * * One note many people widely don't understand about Ginseng and why it has so wide a variety of uses. It is a balancing herb, thus it helps put things into balance. That is why it does so much and many think of it as helpful for so much. Think of that on all balancing type of herbs. I have been using Ginseng regularly since 1973. My Chinese Kung-Fu masters told me to use it. It helps tone up the nervous system, making your Kung-Fu ability greater, more speed, more coordination (up to 40%!) which adds to endurance and the speed and ease of movement. I have completed Nationally and Internationally. Ginseng works, but you need to take it regularly for up to six months or nine months to see a real change start. From there it improves more and more. It takes time to balance things. After about a year you can cut back on taking it every day to a few times a week, then later once a week or as needed. How much do you take per doses? Try a little and keep increasing that amount. You want to find your current personal limit. If you are taking too much, you might get a very slight headache. Don't worry the headache is only slight, no more than that. Think of that as your body telling you that is too much for you. Then try less than that and until you don't feel any headache. Stay at that level of the amount. If later you get a headache, then cut back on that amount, as your body now needs less Ginseng! This is how to regulate the amount for you yourself personally. This is how the Old Chinese Kung-Fu Masters taught me. They have been using it for over 5,000 years for Kung-Fu.

Best dried ginseng root I can find
I used to buy ginseng root from a local market, but they stopped selling it. I looked everywhere for a quality replacement but didn't like anything I found. I eventually found this seller. The quality and flavor of the ginseng is amazing. It's packaged well and always ships fast too.

excellent product - will buy again
This is high quality ginseng; the color and smell are both terrific. The price ($10 per oz) is reasonable. Plus - it is so much easier to use since it is slices instead of dried roots. The roots (usually all you can find) have to be hit with a hammer in order to break off smaller pieces. With this - it is already done for you. The slices are easy to use and easy to break apart or grind.

Don’t pay for corn syrup!
I’m really glad I found these! A lot of people don’t realize when you buy the sweet “honeyed” slices, you are paying for the weight of the honey, which is really corn syrup. Each slice is about 1 gram of pure, unadulterated ginseng. This box will last a long time!
