Gave this brand a try since I always bought their competitor. I must admit it's not bad but a great option if I can't find the other tomato paste. Does the job and tastes great 👍 Bought it on sale so great value. Squeeze it out like red toothpaste 😋

Since giving up dairy, pesto sauce has been something to avoid. I was so pleased to find this vegan pesto paste. It worked perfectly in my pasta salad recipe and was such a treat.

Was delicious came in handy when cooking.

Wish it were heavier on the basil, so I end up using more than should be needed for that pesto flavor (hence the four, not five stars), but still delicious. I add Romano or Parmesan and use it in pasta, tuna or salmon salad sandwiches.

12 full size tubes for $41.00 is a HUGE savings. ONE tube at our grocery store is almost $8.00. This is quality tomato paste and the only brand I like.

This is a really good edition to an Asian dish I made. I will warn you however, it’s spicy. I like spice so when the recipe said optional add 1 tablespoon, I added 2. My mouth is on fire. Flavorful but proceed with caution!

Convenient to use. Nice pesto blend. I find easy to include with other seasonings.

I’m always curious about plant-based/vegan foods and decided I would give this a try. It lacks the distinctive kick I’ve had tasted in pesto whenever I had it in pesto pizza/pesto chicken sandwiches. These were typically store bought so I have no idea if they just “thinned@ their sauce with more olive oil or if it was the distinctive zest of Parmesan that it was missing. I used mine in pasta and used lemon juice to “thin” it or make it spreadable. I couldn’t really taste it and it was a small serving of pasta. But it definitely tastes better than some canned versions I have tried. The protein content is really low at 0g — and vegans are always trying to get enough protein. I think it would be cool to try a version with nutritional yeast or some vegan cheese alternative in the paste to get the kick it’s missing and up the protein content.
