Ernie Ball Earthwood Medium Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, 13-56 Gauge

I got the earthwood medium strings for electric/acoustic hybrid. The packaging was intact, thank God! I want to make something out of it. And the strings? Theyre perfect! Ive been using Ernie Ball Earthwood strings for many years and they have never failed me. Strong and well-built strings and arrived in excellent condition. I will always and forever recommend these strings to anyone of any level of playing abilities to buy from them. Its nice that there is a company that never changes, which is a great thing. Highly recommend any of their strings! You winter be disappointed.

For my D-18 and D-28 this is my go to string. Yes they corrode quickly but that’s the point. When these are a few weeks old they just make the guitar sound old and rustic. The tone is like nothing else. I’ve played all the other expensive strings that purport to give you the best tone, but for my Martins these just sound the best.

Just ok strings a little underwhelming because they just sound ok they don’t play all that great in my opinion and when I was putting them on the G string popped twice from two different packs when I tried to tune them I may have gotten a defective set but I doubt it because I ordered two separate packs I am giving them the benefit of the doubt but I wasn’t impressed with them in my opinion the Martin phosphor bronze strings are significantly better at the same price point maybe even a little cheaper

I always preferred Ernie Ball strings, especially the rock and blues Earthwood acoustics, but I was in the mood to try something different and there were a lot of EB options I had never given a shot. so I tried these, and I was not disappointed. They sound fantastic, for strumming chords or for solo work. anything I played sounds great, at least on my guitar. I am a larger guy and I usually prefer jumbo acoustics but I got a great deal on a smaller one a few years ago and fell in love with the playability of it, but it is not as loud as the acoustics I had been playing previously, but with these strings, the chords I play seem to project a bit more than lighter gauges. I still love the earthwoods, but I will definitely buy these particular strings again also.

Wow what a difference. My sister borrowed my guitar for a week and took it to a music store. I absolutely hated the strings she got.. Sounded loose jangly and terrible. After putting these on... I could not believe how much better they sounded. Medium, you def got to push down just a little harder but is really no problem at all. My brother found it a bit tougher though. Starting off go for light but pretty comfortable with a guitar go for it. sound is awesome. Update: it's been about 7 months and these strings only sound better. Came back to rate 5 stars. So happy with this purchase!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Got these strings for my daughter's guitar. She is constantly needing to change her strings and this has reduced the need to replace them as frequently. Excellent price and quality product.

what can you say they work

I wanted to change up my strings just to try something new, so I figured I would give these a shot. Big mistake, for me personally anyway. These strings feel like they're about 5 years old, but not in the dull way. They feel dirty and sticky, and generally very rough. I will be going back to my Elixers.

Ich habe mir das erste Mal (zumindest mit meiner Westerngitarre) 13er Saiten aufgezogen und ich muss sagen dass das spielgefühl für mich zumindest viel direkter, präziser ist... klar, Bendings sind etwas weniger möglich aber das ist bei einer akustischen ja weniger wichtig. Die Stimmung besonders der 2. B-Saite ist auch leichter zu justieren und open D & G Tunings auch viel besser möglich. Ist natürlich auch von der sauberen Aufführung von Steg und besonders dem Sattel abhängig aber trotzdem von Vorteil...
