Favorite protein powder ever! The powder mixes up so well with just a few shakes. The taste is simple and clean, slight chocolate taste and a hint of sweetness. Very basic and simple. Mixes well with my iced coffee and in plain water. My husband likes it with milk. The powder is very light and airy. No stomach upset, no bloating. Love the minimal ingredients and low carb content. The 5lbs bag is a lifesaver!

Been a whey user for over 15 years and have tried all of the major brands at one time or another. Did some looking into "Organic Whey" recently, not so much buying into the organic craze that is sweeping the nation, but becoming more aware of the quality of ingredients and other chemicals that are in most standard wheys.Plant protein is a good alternative that is an easy choice, however I prefer whey. Was looking for a whey product that was a little more natural/less chemicals, and for the most part anything in that category seems to also be organic (added bonus).Choosing between the abundance of products out there is difficult, there is no quality comparison to help and for the most part it will be trial and error for everyone individually. Basically it comes down to price and taste. Most of these organic products are expensive, and the majority only come unflavored. I prefer chocolate flavored whey, so that helped narrow it down a bit. I also had no intention of spending a small fortune on organic whey, so that eliminated a bunch as well. You will read a lot about stomach issues with the organic/raw/cold-processed proteins, I have had no issues. My thought is that if you have stomach problems with Dairy before hand then you can have issues with any of these as well, otherwise if you are a milk drinker then you're probably fine.As far as this particular product goes. Natural Force has made an outstanding product. I am extremely pleased. Very high quality ingredients, and exactly what you're looking for in terms of natural/chemical free whey. The taste is great as far as chocolate protein powder goes. The price was reasonable for the serving size (still more than your standard proteins, but not nearly as expensive as organic whey goes). The only downside is that it does not mix 100%, I use a blender bottle and there is always a small amount that doesn't completely dissolve, doesn't really bother me too much. Already on my second purchase.If you can live without Prime, you can buy via the Natural Force website and sign up for a subscription and get regular shipments for a little less money. They also have larger serving size options.

This has a subtle chocolate taste it mixes well and is my go to protein powder.

Seems to be really high quality, we love the lack of extra ingredients and the fact that it’s not super sweet (some have way too much monk fruit/stevia) however it is very messy due to the lack of soy lecithin. It sticks to the outer part of the scoop in clumps and when you tap it into the container of choice it inevitably will spill powder outside of your target. That being said we still ordered again so I guess it just depends on what you’re willing to put up with. We had previously used “NorCal Organic” but they’ve been out of stock of anything flavored for over a month now. They are the comparable brand but have soy lecithin so it’s not as messy. This protein powder is used in fruit smoothies and yogurt parfaits, and bc it’s not as sweet I’m able to mix a scoop with a serving of Greek yogurt without that concentrated artificial sweetener flavor and smoothies have a more natural subtle chocolate flavor. The powder is super fine making it very mixable/blendable. I hope this was helpful for someone.

Worth the price

I never write reviews but this is terrible! It doesn’t mix at all! It stays clumpy and in big chunks. The scoop is huge and it stuck to the bottom of my container and wouldn’t even mix with an immersion blender. So expensive! I’m really disappointed.

I am new to this whey thing and was a bit shocked to open the lid of this product and discover HALF of the container was EMPTY - lots of air. They could have easily packaged twice the amount of powder inside this container, or they should have sent the product in a container HALF the size. Very misleading... It is like buying a 2 liter bottle of soda with only enough soda to fill a solo cup.The taste is awesome once you get the powder inside your water bottle. The HUGE scooper they include is great if using a blender, but I wanted to enjoy a more convenient trail use and bypass an electric blender and just add the powder to a costco standard 16 oz water bottle and be done. The hockey puck size scooper would not fit into the dime size neck of a water bottle so I used a 1/2 teaspoon size scoop that fit into the top of my water bottle, it took 36 little scoops to equal one of the scoops included in the can. Just a casual observation, it would be awesome to have the scoop in the shape of a test tube to make it easier to fill water bottles directly, but I could be missing something and maybe water bottles are not the preferred method to mix or deliver this product.With all the empty space inside this nice white plastic container they could have EASILY included a shaker thus bypassing the water bottle as a shaker idea completely. Like I said at the top, I am new to this and do not have a shaker, so for a seasoned user with lots of shakers, the shaker will be a diluted issue.This product would have easily been a 5 star product if packaged in an appropriate size container with a better scooper. Twice the raw material was wasted to make the oversized plastic bottle, a box twice the needed size was needed to ship the bottle and all of this adds up to a lot of wasted material and weight - not very environmental aware.If I like this product I will check and see if this brand is available in single serve water bottle size packets like crystal-lite to make it easier to get into my water bottle.
