Rich Bright Flavor
I use this in baked goods, cocktails and as a coffee flavoring. It has an amazing, fresh, bright licorice taste that is really amazing and it has a very long shelf life without tasting funny or getting cloudy.

Exactly as I remember!
Some extracts are hard to find at the grocers. You can always find vanilla, but other flavors may be more of a challenge. This extract is exactly as I remember from Mom's kitchen. It's bold and flavorful. Make those pizelles! Make those biscotti! This is the anise you are looking for! This is a high quality extract. The lid fits and tightens well; it does not leak. I think is a very good value. McCormick advertises that you are getting twice as much as before, but how silly is that? You are getting 2 ounces instead of one? Big whoop. Still, I recommend!

Great taste, but not very strong
This extract is what it's supposed to be, but I bought it to make anise flavored Pizelle cookies and then found out anise OIL is needed to give them as much flavor as they need.

Convenient and Delicious for the Holiday Baking Season
I used this for the most delicious anise cookies after I searched everywhere for anise extract at the grocery store. The product came in good condition and timely. I was worried that the bottle would be too small, but it was perfect for what we needed. will purchase again!

Mom's happy
I hate black licorice. 🤮 I bought this specifically for my Mom to place as flavouring into batches of ice cream for her. SHE LOVES IT!!!! So... I can only guess that this was the perfect choice for flavouring if you seek true licorice flavour.
