One of the best roofing nailers
Great gun, has worked very well. If you are experiencing jamming issues or curled nails- it’s likely because you are bump firing and pulling the gun away too quickly as you bump fire. Overall, I have been very pleased with the performance. I set my psi to 100 with 1.25 inch nails

Never had a new roofing gun perform so poorly.
This gun couldn't put in 6 nails flush ONCE while using today. My Porter Cable, 20 year old gun broke so I got this as a replacement. Love the Hitachi(not Metabo HPT) framing guns I have so I thought I'd give it a whirl. The fact that Amazon had it for 231 and could ship overnight was huge plus BUT gun is terrible. Put down 12 squares of roofing today, gun wouldn't sink 6 nails in a row for anything. Had to keep the hammer handy to fix 1 or 2 on every shingle. Will not keep up with me, using the biggest air hose I have-just won't cycle fast enough to set nails-Porter Cable had no problems until it broke. The fact that Metabo is now involved doesn't inspire confidence. In fact, it's their involvement that probably drives the regular price to 299! I'm done, this is going back. Ordered the Bostitch and parts for this Porter Cable. Trigger hissed every time you depress to sequential nail. HATED that feature if it's not an outright defect. Heavier gun than the Porter Cable as well. Just isn't a good tool. Find another one you like because this ain't it. I think Porter Cable is becoming a DIY brand with Stanley Black & Decker or I'd order another one. SBD just doesn't put the quality into the PC tools anymore. I have plenty of photos of nails standing up on the shingles but who needs to see that? Any pro knows when a tool isn't worthy of taking to the job site. Porter Cable RN175 runs circles around the Metabo and it's 20 years old! Hope this helps.
