Great knife
Very nice entry level Japanese chef knife. Only buy it if you know how to care for low chrome/high carbon steel. Goes great with a King 1000/6000 waterstone. Comes sharp, but it's very easy to turn it into a laser with 10 minutes on stones.

Poor quality
Extremely disappointed with the quality. The item rusted after just one use, which is unacceptable.

Good carbon steel knife
This is not a forged carbon steel knife like the high end Japanese knifes, however it is a good quality tool. Very similar to the German knifes. It will rust and stain if not cared for, but takes and holds a great edge. Mine is about a year old and hold up very well. You can get these knifes scary sharp.
