Highland Croft - Terrific Tablet from Scotland 125g …

I absolutely love this tablet. It is a Scottish favorite and it reminds me so much of the tablet I ate growing up in Glasgow. It is similar to American fudge but creamier.

This little morsel melted in your mouth. A very pleasant surprise. I was looking for something like fudge candy and found this gem!! A definite buy again!!

This is the third product I ordered trying to find a Scottish tablet that tastes like what I bought in Scotland, and loved! I immediately ordered two more boxes. One piece with a shot of espresso is very satisfying and tastes just like the tablet I enjoyed in Scotland!

I've never had tablet before, so I can't compare it to other brands. I just figured I would enjoy it because I love caramel. I did indeed enjoy the buttery, creamy, lightly caramel taste. In case you're wondering how much you get - it's 125 grams, which equates to 4.4 oz. My package contained 10 pieces. Each piece is about 1 inch by 1 inch by .5 inches. Ingredients listed on package: Sugar, sweetened condensed milk (from cows milk), evaporated milk (from cows milk), non-hydrogenated vegetable fat from palm, butter (from cows milk), glucose syrup, water, natural flavouring, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), salt, preservative (potassium sorbate).

The tablet was delicious, probably the best I've ever had. However, I bought it as a gift for my dad and the box was squished and some of the tablet was turned to powder. Very disappointing.

Super delicious (addictive). Very buttery. Melts in your mouth.

The texture of tablet reminds me a little of pralines without the pecans, and poured into a pan instead of into patties. There's a slight crunch when you bite into a piece, and then it turns creamy and melts in your mouth. I have not ordered any more only because my waistline does not need it!

The flavor is only ok. They are very dry and crumbly. Very expensive for the amount which would have been ok if they had been better quality.
