Work great with one caveat
Installation and adjustment was very easy. I was surprised at the coverage with my limited water pressure. With a water pressure of 42 psi, the sprayer was able to reach 34 feet consistently. I tried connecting and running two of these to the same outdoor faucet. They both worked but the reach became noticeably diminished by about 6 feet. One work of caution: After a few minutes, the plastic housing where the sprinkler head pops up fills with water the the soil area around the head becomes saturated. To limit this flooding this, dig the hole a bit deeper and wider and add some gravel (small rocks) under the device to facilitate drainage. Other than this issue, so far the sprinklers are working fine.

Easiest inground spinkler available
Love these sprinklers. We are able to have sprinklers with preset coverage patters and no hassle of laying underground piping. The economical choice. Installation involves digging a hole 4x12in (10x30cm) hole to place to contain the sprinkling hose attachment mechanism, and then attach a garden hose and adjust sweep pattern and distance. From there, it will be simply a matter of giving the hose connect cover a half-turn twist, plugging in the output end of the hose, and turning on the water. Same coverage every time. Completely at ground level when not being used. My one caveat is that our lawn service's riding mower has high enough suction that it has the tendency to literally suck off the hose connect cover and chop it us a bit. My answer has been to take them off before the service comes.

Easy to use and effective
This is a great alternative to in ground sprinklers, but also a great alternative to above ground. Here’s the deal- you have to plug your hose in to each sprinkler still. The nice thing about it is that you don’t have to determine if you’re “in the right spot” or how to adjust your coverage area. You can measure the coverage on your lawn, dig these in, and click in your hose every time you want to water. It saves to much time and effort and is significantly cheaper and easier than an in ground system.

The answer to your watering needs if you cannot afford an in ground sprinkler system and far cheaper
This sprinkler is amazing.Very easy to installTook a couple of tries to figure out the direction of the sprayer where I wanted it and the distance but it was easy after setting the first oneBefore I used these my front lawn required 3 sprinklers and could not cover all of the area that I needed. Now just 2 of these throws the water almost out to the street. AmazingWish I had known about this in the first place. Set it and you are done.

Five star review, this the first day of installation despite not being able to find any warranty information from the manufacturer's website. Purchased the Asurion (?), two year protection package - just in case. The device serves my purpose and the instructions are in English.Be prepared to take a shower when changing the directional settings as (to the best of my knowledge) you can only adjust the spray coverage when the sprinkler head pops up.

A Good Alternatative To An In Ground Sprinkler System
As of this writing I have now used my sprinkler for about 3 months. I originally purchased just one unit to assess the coverage and whether the system would work for my needs. I then purchased 3 more units. Let me first explain why I began looking for a new sprinkler system. The main issue with all portable sprinkler systems is you need to reset the pattern each and EVERY time you move the sprinkler otherwise you get uneven coverage or wasted water. I was actually exploring how I could use an in ground sprinkler components to build a quick connect system that I did not have to move and then I stumbled on the Rain Bird LG3HE. In one easy package I have a professional level sprinkler head and a quick connect system that allowed me to aim the sprinkler once and not worry about it again. Bottom line this system is a TIME SAVER. If you combine this unit with a timer you can run you hose to the sprinkler, connect it and turn the water on in less than 5 minutes. Do not under estimate the time savings of the hassle free hose connect system. I have 4 units so I hit a section of the grass in 30-45 minute watering. My sprinklers all overlap each other for the best coverage. COVERAGE: My house has about 65 PSI at the hose. I find a single hose to one sprinkler covers a large area but I require 4 sprinklers to cover most of my yard. I have tried a attaching 2 hoses from one faucet and there is considerable loss in cover from each sprinkler which may require a re-adjustment. This is not necessarily a bad thing if you consider this in your watering plan. I have found that a single hose to one sprinkler works the best and I am good with moving the hose to other sprinklers as needed. OVERALL: I highly recommend the Rain Bird LG3HE sprinkler. I have finally found the next best thing to a true in ground system with out all of the associated costs.

SO great!
Makes watering a breeze. ONLY downfall is the sprinkler will sometimes hit the hose flooding it, but honestly I’ll take it… haven’t found a more convenient or better option! Allows for mowing and what not without having to move or readjust above ground sprinklers every time. LOVE!

Critical & Improvement-Focused
I’ve been using the Rain Bird LG3HE in-ground impact sprinkler with Click‑N‑Go hose connect for a season now, and here’s my take:• 👍 Convenient setup & cleanup – Once installed flush with the ground, you just click your hose on when needed and tuck it away when done. No lugging traditional sprinklers around or tripping over hoses .• 📏 Customizable coverage – Easily adjustable for full or part-circle, with spray reaching roughly 20–41 ft, covering up to 5,200 sq ft .• 🔧 Solid construction – Built to handle well water and minerals, with a double‑weighted mechanism and grit‑proof bearing .• ⚠️ Some limitations – Needs a designated hose since the Click‑N‑Go doesn’t detach well, and sandy soil may require occasional cleaning or maintenance .• 💰 Middle-tier price – Around $45 retail, it’s cheaper than a permanent system but more than pop-up kits.Verdict: Great for homeowners wanting ease of use without a full irrigation system. Just be ready to maintain it in sandy conditions and stay consistent with hose usage.
