The pattern is beautiful!
My only problem is I can not find the linen in the colors that they recommend. The thread was not a problem. I would like the pattern to show the bead types or more information on the beads. I ask my local store and looked on line and this was no help. I will do beads and pattern in my own colors and beads.

The Photo is a Lie...
I am currently working on all 4 of the Celtic Seasonal Ladies as designed by Lavender and Lace. For 3 of the 4 seasons the publisher of the patterns chose to use a computer generated version of the final design rather than a photograph of the finished stitched piece, while it was mildly annoying for the Summer and Autumn it turned out that the final pieces were close to the colors indicated on the photo with the chart. Not so on Winter, the image makes you believe that it is a stark white gown with severe gray shading and intense yellow accents worn by a woman of dusky coloring with black hair. In reality the shading is not as severe and in line with the gradations we see in the other ladies, her skintones are the same as the other ladies and she has dark brown hair, not black as shown. The Fabric (the recommended Smoky Pearl) is closer to a dusty sky blue not the slate blue/blue gray.Due to my poor opinion of the front image/photo I ALMOST decided to not get this chart, and only finally included it when I decided to do the other Celtic ladies, I have been (thankfully) plesantly suprised that the final piece will look MUCH better than the photo implied.4/5 stars for the poor design and production of the chart photo, for the time. money, and expense needed to complete one of the L&L designs you would think they would be sure the front image showed this incredable design to it's fullest and most flattering potential.
