This gadget worked quite well for me; a mango is a difficult fruit to cut with any reasonable success and using this handy tool enabled me to deal with said fruit in a fairly efficient and acceptable way.The centre of the mango isn't easy to ascertain going in with a knife; this cutter makes the decision for you, cleanly slicing through the body of the fruit and leaving you with two halves of the fleshy fruit and a core that can be discarded; the heavy skin still has to be removed with a knife, but that`s a better option than doing it all with the knife from scratch.A useful item to have in the kitchen; efficient and easy to use.

A well thought out kitchen tool for mango. Works well and have now bought another for family member. Makes light work of splitting a mango.

I found with this item it didn't really cut out the stone in one press it took a couple of goes with juice skirting everywhere. I can do as good a job with a good, sharp knife. In my opinion this is a novelty piece of kitchen equipment that will be used less than a handful of times to then live out it's life in the back of the kitchen drawer, forgotten about.Not for me.

So this is an interesting concept.It's a bit like the apple core removers except what it does is slice a mango into three and tries to cut around the stone.It kinda works. It leaves you with two big chunks of mango and does remove the core.The thing is you still need to peel it, and it's a very rough cut and sometimes does and sometimes doesn't remove all the core.I'm 50/50 about it and feel like this is a product looking for a problem to solve.It is well made and sturdy but not sure it saves enough time to be worth it.

This didn't really work for me. The first mango I tried it on had an off-set stone which this device half cut through before getting stuck in it. The second was more successful, but wasn't a very nice mango, hardly the cutter's fault but I think I'll stick to shop prepared mango in future.

Easy to use gadget for chopping mangoes : whenever I cut mangoes up I get in such a mess and waste more that we eat ! Added to that its a dangerous slippy job - with a risk of cutting fingers and hands with a sharp knife- this does away with that and enable easy splitting and removing the stone to enable proper slicing and then enjoyable eating !!

It makes cutting mango a breeze! So easy to use, one little sweep and it's done

I was really surprised how easy this was. Take mango, place this over with the stalk bit central, and push down. Voila, the stone is neatly separated and you have two halves ready to remove the skin. And you do still need to remove the skin, but this does make eating a mango far more accessible and fun.Recommended
