Quixx 20446 Wheel Repair Kit, silver, M

For the money I had little to lose trying the product. Had a bad scuff along around a third of the wheel rim. Followed the instructions and brushed three coats of paint on. Although still just detectable the finish was better than expected. One word of warning, don’t mix too much putty in one go if you have a long scuff mark. The putty is only pliable for around 5 minutes before starting to cure.

This kit is a good, quick cover up. You get a substantial amount of product. It lasts for a couple of weeks then you will need to top it up. It does the job until repair.

Not enough sand paper but worth the money

Very good, easy to follow. Just need to put some time into it, can’t rush it. Blends in with the rest of the paint perfectly.

The epoxy putty dries out very quickly and could not be molded into the scratches. I wonder if they were put in warehouse for years. Once applied, it becomes little humps that takes forever to sand it out. The sandpaper it gives you are 150 grit and 600 grit, that are too coarse for the job and creates more micro-scratches.You would need some 1000-3000 grit sandpaper, and probably polishing compound and sponges, which are not provided. The paint is a joke. It is thick and darker than aluminium alloy. It is the kind of paint you use for making scale model not for some real repair work. The result looks probably worse than not using it.

Just had my alloys refurbished black.. week later chipped!!! Looked for a kit with a putty to build up the height. This kit has it all. Putty, sandpaper, paint. Best purchase in a long time. Life saver.. Can not even see the repair on the wheel

Works as advertised. Need to patient and be ready to put some work in to get the required quality.

Als ich etwas über Felgenreparatur gelesen habe und das Produkt angesprochen wurde war ich skeptisch ob es wirklich einfach zu verarbeiten und stabil genug ist.Da ich zu dem Zeitpunkt eine stark verschrammte Felge hatte habe ich es gewagt und nicht bereut.Die Anleitung ist deutlich verständlich und das Produkt lässt sich gut verarbeiten.Kann das Produkt absolut empfehlen.

El producto no funciona, la pasta que en el vídeo es moldeable y fácil de aplicar no tiene nada que ver con el producto de verdad. La masa es dura y grumosa, no se puede aplicar. Comprar el producto es tirar el dinero

Es ist deutlich einfacher, als man es sich anfangs vorstellt. Das flüssige Alu ist leicht zu verarbeiten, die Menge an Lack und Schleifpapier sind für mittlere Bordsteinschrammen ausreichend beigelegt. Meiner schwarzen Felge sieht man den Bordsteinkontakt nur mehr bei sehr genauem Blick an.

L'anno scorso avevo preso un marciapiede con le gomme invernali volevo riparare il cerchio, ma tra danno e riverniciatura mi avevano chiesto quasi 90€Ho preso questo kit nonostante avessi letto qualche recensione negativa ma mi ispirava e alla fine sono rimasto sorpreso..All'interno della confezione dei cartoncini di pasta abrasiva una specie di "pongo" cilindrico con all'interno un catalizzatire, una vernice(che io non ho utilizzato perché ho usato una bomboletta spry della linea macota cerchioni).La miglior cosa è avere il cerchio senza gomma,se si ha il danno nella parte sul bordo del cerchio.Ho usato le carte abrasive ma se il danno è un po piu ampio non bastano...io fortunatamente ne avevo di scorta.Ho scartavetrato nella parte del danno..pulito con un prodotto antisiliconico,ritagliato un pezzo di "pongo" che va impastato per 1/2 minuti schiacciato tipo cicca è posizionato sul danno e a sua volta schiacciando con le dita si dà la forma del cerchio..Non paio di ore ma io l'ho fatto asciugare un giorno intero..Carta privacy grassa fino a dagli la forma ed eliminare il prodotto in eccesso..Una volta fatto questo ho ricominciato tutto con la bomboletta ed il risultato è fenomenale il cerchio è tornato come nuovo..Lo consiglio per chi ha sul cerchio piccoli danni da marciapiede era la prima volta che lo facevo ma devo ammettere che ci vuole bocca manualità..Prodotto consigliato personalmente
