Great Cutters for the Cost
Was a little skeptical buying these at their price point compared to the name brand, but I am beyond impressed. They perform as well as any ratcheting cutter Iโve ever used. The compact size makes them fit perfectly into my backpack tool bag, so I always have cutters for large cable. Out of the box they were plenty sharp to cut any cable Iโve put it up against. The grip handle on them are a little lower quality rubber I feel could break down over time, but for the cost itโs to be expected. Iโve used them a few dozen times already and they have not failed me, dropped them in the mud and they seem to be as durable as they were out of the box. The cutters look exactly like the name brand and it wouldnโt surprise me if itโs the same manufacturer at the end of the day. Highly recommend these to any electrician looking to have some small ratcheting cutters that donโt break the bank.

Perfect for Fall branches!
Worked like a charm on my fall decor branches! I had to cut them down a little cause they were super long but they have 3 metal thick wires in them and nothing else worked. These did the job quickly and easily! I love the ratchet ability because it does the work for you

Working good so far
Only used them a few time but they cut through a 2 inch auto wire harness with no problems. Well worth the money.

It works.
This cable cutter works great and should have purchased before. It was sold at a fair unit price.

Worked great, saved lots of frustration
I got these to cut some 4/0 cable as cutting anything over 1/0 cable becomes a real hassle with regular cutters. These cutters had no problem cutting the 20 sections of 4/0 cable. They still look sharp and durable after my use.

Cuts With Ease
I needed to cut through a large bundle of wires (3 X 3/0 and 1X 1/0). This cutter cut through the entire bundle without any problems. If you are having to cut large wires, I highly recommend it over standard hand tools.

Cutting Jaw(s) Jammed Closed
The Yangoutool Ratchet Cable Wire Cutter has been returned. I am providing them with a "gift-with-return": a bike lock. The reason is that the allegedly "quick" release lever does not work. The jaws/blades are permanently jammed around the exterior of the bike lock cable. The only way I was able to remove the bike lock was by literally twisting the cables (with my bare hands) until the lock portion snapped away from the cable portion... the ratchet cable cutter had nothing to do with this amazing feat. Not all ratchet cable cutters are created equal. The better ones have a distinct thumb lever on the side of the tool so the user can easily open the cutting jaws. Opening this tool (even before I tried to cut the bike lock) was very tricky since it did not open freely and without extreme force. I noticed chipped paint on the tool when I opened it, so it is possible that it was a damaged/returned item, but even if it were, it should still open. The tool is too glitchy and can not be relied on. It was most likely previously owned and probably returned. I don't like it when companies don't check out returned items to ensure they are working correctly before shipping them out to a new customer.

Wire cutter
Worked great, used them on 8-4 cord a lot and they are just as sharp as when I bought them, over a year of use already

Solid, well built, and cuts large copper and aluminum cable much easier than I expected
This thing is solid, well built, and cuts large copper and aluminum cable much easier than I expected. The ratcheting action is smooth and gives you plenty of leverage, which makes cutting heavier cable considerably easier than trying to fight through it with a standard pair of cutters. The handles feel strong and the overall tool has a good, heavy-duty feel to it. I especially like that the ratchet lets you stop partway through a cut and release the cable if necessary. That makes working with larger cable much more manageable and controlled. I've used it for electrical work where having the right tool makes a big difference, and this has definitely earned a permanent place in my toolbox. For anyone working with larger electrical wire and cable, this is one of those tools that you don't realize how useful it is until you actually have one. For the price, I honestly wasn't expecting this level of performance. It feels like a much more expensive professional tool. If you're an electrician, doing electrical renovations, or regularly working with larger copper or aluminum cable, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. Great tool, excellent leverage, clean cuts, and very good value for the money. Five stars from me.

Cheap but great
Itโd be tough to make your living with these, but for projects a guy does on occasion, you canโt beat these. They work really well and are super cheap. Perfect DIY tool.

Nice Cable Cutter
It gives the result as mentioned in its specifications. Just curious to know from supplier - why it is hard to cut the left over thread / fibers of the cable while all other cable pieces are cut.

Not good
Latest about 50 cuts then some of the intervals broke not secured enough if you need a quit cut at home giver if your a electrician that uses them fairly often probably not a good choice
