I was really impressed with this hand casting kit. The instructions were clear, easy to follow, and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. We had no issues at all, and the final result came out absolutely great. What makes this review more meaningful for me is that I've actually tried a different brand since using this one. I picked up another kit from a local high street shop because it was on offer and assumed it would be much the same. Unfortunately, the instructions weren't nearly as clear, and the finished cast wasn't as detailed or as good as the one we achieved with this kit. This kit was much easier to use, and the quality of the finished result was noticeably better. It captures a special moment that can be proudly displayed and kept for years as a lasting memory. Another bonus is that it's actually quite fun to do together 😄. It's not just about the finished piece, but also about enjoying the experience of creating it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking for a thoughtful gift or a unique way to create a keepsake with their partner.

I bought this hand casting kit as a keepsake for my mum, who has recently diagnosed with an illness. I wanted something simple and meaningful that we could do together and treasure for years to come, and this was absolutely perfect. We held hands while the cast set for around five minutes, then gently removed them and applied the plaster to finish it off before leaving it to harden for 24 hours. At first I thought I had done something wrong, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the final result was beautifully presented. It’s amazing how something so simple can capture such a special moment and turn it into a lasting memory we can look back on. One idea I’d recommend is doing it on a significant day or occasion, and even engraving the date on the base to make it even more personal. Don’t hesitate to buy this. such a small cost for something that preserves a lifetime of memories.

Good kit, I didn’t quite follow the instructions as it said as my baby is wriggly so needed it to set quicker . Moulds came out really well compared to other kits I’ve bought. Bought it twice.

Believe me when I say I never write a review for anything but this I had too, my mother has an incurable illness and I’m all about capturing special moments with her, this casting kit has blown me away, so easy to do and the results are amazing, it picks up every detail, now I have a treasured memory I can keep forever. We left ours overnight to make sure it was fully dry, don’t hesitate in buying it and missing out on a special moment x

Absolutely horrible! I brought this kit as I was told via asking and having a look that I could use this casting kit for my dog to do a casting of her foot. I coated her foot in protroleum jelly to stop anything sticking to her fur. The alginate molding powder was awful, we followed the instructions, we held her foot in there and we couldn't get it out! When we finally did the mold was ruined and most of the molding powder was dried clumped to her fur, we couldn't get it out, ended up having to take her to the groomers to remove it. The fact the product comes up when you search for animal safe casting kits its an absolute joke, the bigger fact that when you ask if this would be a suitable product, it says it is again not true. If you are looking for a product to do a keepsake casting of you pets paws DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. If I could return it I would!!

Was a bit sceptical but so happy and pleased with how it turned out. Came out perfectly and very easy to do.

I would say this is a good kit but i wouldn’t recommend if your baby is under 2 as we tried 4 times (2 kits purchased) and all the times failed because of the wiggly toes. We tried when baby was newborn and also 8 months. Save yourself the money and wait until they can actuslly keep their foot still.

Acheté pour faire l'empreinte de mes jumeaux. Ils avaient 2 mois et c'était difficile d'appuyer sur leur pied et leur main pour bien marquer la pâte... je préfère les empreintes à l'encre/a la peinture, ca leur fait moins mal. Je recommande pour des enfants qui peuvent appuyer par eux meme

Top et très chouette! malheureusement j'ai voulu faire une base avec le liquide lors de la deuxième étape et elle s'est cassé. Je recommande, super comique à faire avec les enfants.
