Works great 2004 avalanche
Works great especially with a 2800 to 3 grand stall converter total control in gear three wheel lock up after 30 mph in third gear will lock up in fourth gear after 40 with canned bus control computer a must with A stall converter I have one in my older truck which is a 96 and one in my all for avalanche with a 53 with a 2800 stall you can rig the old unit but this one will work better in three and fourth gear there is one for the older style 4L 60e and one for the new style make sure you order the right one

It did not fix my issue
I have the classic 4l60e (2005 Trailblazer) issue where after sustained high speeds (like a run down an interstate), once you get off to side road traffic the transmission shifts hard from first to second until you turn the car on and off to reset the action. I was under the impression this would fix it. Install was messy but straightforward. I guess my transmission is just too far gone but that doesn’t help my dissatisfaction that I went through all that trouble for nothing when this product was touted as a fix.

It fit and took care of trans shutter
I have a trailblazer and it had a transmission shutter, especially around 3-4 gear or 40-50 mph. This worked and fix the shifting and shutter problem. However, mine still shutters about 5% of the time now. I will take that as a win. The truck drives a little different. Seems to be slower, but only the owner would know. This is a great product.
