Semikolon Desk Blotter, 19 x 24 Inches, Lime Green (3560012)

I got this desk blotter for my daughter desk based on the good reviews. I'm disappointed to find out that it does slide a lot in her desk and doesn't stay in place. Would not get it to use to write or draw on it.

I purchased two of these desk blotters in the lime green color, intending to use them on my desk and my husband's desk in our home office. The color in the photo was exactly what I was looking for: a soft lime/apple green with white piping along the edges. When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was that the color was very different from the photo. The green is much more saturated than it appears in the photo. I'd describe it as a Kelly green color, but with a bit of olive to it. It's more along the lines of the color that a lime's skin actually is, rather than what is popularly described as "lime green". Furthermore, the trim is NOT white. I wouldn't even describe it as off white. It's definitely a pale cream/yellow color. When I put the blotters on our white desks, the trim is so obviously not a match that it makes the blotters appear dirty.I would describe the general quality of these blotters as average. They're heavy cardboard covered in a slightly slick colored paper. Even the corner guards aren't plastic (like you would normally see on a blotter). Would they last for years? I highly doubt it. But if you just want something that will look nice, this would probably fit the bill. Just realize that the green is NOT the same as shown in pics.These are my first ever Amazon return. They simply don't match what was shown in the pictures and because of this, they don't match my decor at all. Its a bummer, because I was really hoping to be able to outfit my office with more of the Semikolon green products!

I wanted a desk blotter to protect the surface of my desk and because I don't want what I write to be imprinted into the surface so anyone can come along and see what I wrote down (you know, like all those detective shows, where the person solving the mystery lifts the key phone number off of the -- paper, desk, etc etc.) The surface of this blotter doesn't accomplish my second goal, so I have had to resort to other means but it looks good, defines a space on my desk, and today I was pleasanty surprised to find out that ink could easily be removed with a little rubbing alcohol -- without ruining the finish.

Disappointed in the quality of this blotter. Nice color scheme, but the blotter itself bends upward at the corners and seems that it will be easily scratched/damaged. I don't think this was worth the money.

The product was not what I expected. I was looking for flexible blotting paper I could cut to fit a leather blotter on my desk. Also, the colour was more vivid than I wanted. I didn't return it because shipping costs would have been too high to warrant return.

Its a desk blotter. It's decorative and functional, does just what it says it will do. Hard to find a good one these days.

I love the color and the overall quality of the product. However, the corners are beginning to curl up instead of laying flat.
