I was a little leery of buying hardwood like this online but both boards were packaged well and had zero splits, dents or defects. Would definitely buy again.

I was very pleasantly surprised that these walnut pieces were absolutely perfect. The dimensions were exactly as ordered, and the faces were absolutely flat and parallel. Same with the edges. I could not have milled them better myself. No snipe. No knots. No blemishes. No complaints.

I read some scathing reviews about walnut pieces bought here. There were complaints about everything from planer snipe to warping, cupping, edges not being true and rough faces.I got 2 pieces 3’ long 3/4” thick and 6” wide that was well sanded and trued on every surface. I’m a retired cabinet shop owner. I’ll need to round a few corners, ease some edges and sand from 120 up to about 320 and rub some urethane on it. But it’s ready to work with my limited saws and an orbital sander.I’m completely satisfied. If you’re a hobbyist or pro, with limited tools, this lumber is ready to go. I’ll gladly buy from these folks again.
