Maxi Health® High Potency Liquid Iron Supplement, Berry (2 fl oz)

My daughter has always had heavier than normal periods every since she started getting her period. I can always tell when it is here as it usually throws her for a loop. She has never actually been diagnosed with an iron deficiency however I had a very similar issue when I was younger. I drink alot of grape juice and take supplements so I dont seem to have an issue any longer. I did some research and decided to order these liquid drops for her to try. I can tell you I tried them myself and the taste isn't the best however they do work in giving her some life back. After just a few doses you can tell it brought her iron levels back up because she was feeling alot better. The dark circles under here eyes arent as prominent. I am hoping with regular use she wont feel so bad when her period does come. So far these seem to be working well. The benefits seem to outweigh the not so great flavor and after taste. We will be ordering more once she gets more than half way through this bottle.

I have been using this product since early 2021. I buy it a few times a year. I am very anemic and have been sustained by this medicine. While required to have infusions every few months, after covid I wanted to avoid unnecessary trips to the doctor last year. I found this liquid and it does work and the price is right for my budget. It keeps my iron at a level where it isn't so low that I have "attacks" anymore, but it doesn't raise my iron so that I no longer need to take iron. That's not the liquid's fault but my health's. I think it would work for a person who has absorption issues like mine. I like that it is gluten and grain free, as I am allergic to grains. It is preservative free, which I must also avoid. It also avoids oils, nuts, seeds, and coconut, which I also avoid. Now...for the taste. I have been taking this for more than a year. The taste wasn't good but it was bearable. I just purchased a bottle I bought over the summer and it is UNBEARABLE enough that I might find an alternative supplement. I don't know what happened, but it's BAD. I noticed the formula is lighter, like the iron doesn't sink to the bottom. I would rather deal with that than this horrific taste. I am hoping it's just a bad bottle, and will purchase a new one today. If they did change their previous formula to have this bad taste, I will stop buying this product. I cannot endure the taste at all. Before this last bottle the taste wasn't fun, but I could at least tolerate it. I will give this product 5 stars for doing what it needs to do and hopefully they are not losing who could be a lifelong customer in me.

Had been trying to get my low Iron levels up for close to two years! I had tried several other products without success. Some upset my sensitive stomach and none raised my Iron levels to normal range. It was getting to the point where I was going to need Iron infusions . Several tests could not pin point any type of bleeding issues as a cause and it was thought that I was just not absorbing the iron. My Nurse Practitioner who is my PCP recommended this Maxi Health brand and I am so glad she did! It is easy to take. I mix the liquid with a as very small amount of orange juice and do not notice any bad taste and no upset stomach. Best of all, this product worked very well! My Iron levels and HGB were retested after 3 months and there was a dramatic improvement! In fact , they were able to reduce my dosage of Iron from 5x/ week to 2x/ week and they will monitor. Very pleased with Maxi Health Iron Concentrate which worked for me when several others failed. Would highly recommend to anyone! Saw complaints about the taste which I have none- just mix with OJ and the vitamin C is said to increase the Iron absorption!

I've taken iron pills but I feel like thus liquid is better for me. I don't have any tummy issues because of it, and I think it does help me feel a bit less tired. The dropper is difficult to read and fill fully so I estimate half and take that twice. The taste is horrible but it doesn't linger. I chase it with water or juice and then use mouthwash lol maybe I'm just sensitive to the metallic smell and taste. I haven't tried other brands or flavors so idk if this is better or worse than others. Luckily it doesn't linger. Some people say leaving it under your tongue is better for absorption but I can't stand it being in my mouth and all over my tongue like that so I just drop it as far back as possible in the mouth and then chase it. Not reducing a star for this because they can't help how iron tastes lol I haven't noticed any side effects so far. I'd say give it a try. If you don't think it's worth the benefits then don't buy it next time.

This is my second order and i ordered it because the first liquid iron wasn't available and I looked for other options and i found this. And i liked this one. I like it because it's concentrae, you can use for women, men and kids so the whole family can use it. I like the taste of it. It has a berry flavor taste to it and you can see how concentrated it is and it works. I don't just like it, i love it. My Dr. wants me to take iron 3 times a day to keep my iron levels up because i have a problem with being anemic. It helps with energy, fatigue and i love the taste of it and i love that it's natural and it's not just for adults its kid friendly and they will like the taste of it. It's easy to swallow put in food, smoothies, other drinks, like orange juice etc. And the best thing of all it won't irate/ bother your stomach because it goes straight to your bloodstream. I would recommend it's worth your money 💰. I would buy it again and again.

No doubt this supplement helps raise your iron levels. Liquids are very absorbable. I used to take Spatone brand which is 5mg per dose/pack of liquid iron. Even that actually caused me to overdose in the span of 2 months. Frequently check your levels when using liquid versions. The taste is fine. I’m not sure what all the dramatic fuss is about. If it bothers you more than normal, mix it with something. The biggest negatives for me is how this made me feel. I felt awful nausea and GI distress even just after my first dose. It woke me up in the night. Diarrhea the next day. Thought that was interesting, as liquids are typically gentler on the system, but I wonder if this dosage in liquid form is too high for my body to handle. I handled the Spatone 5mg just fine, and that raised my levels quicker than anything I had taken before. I do agree with the awful bottle construction (I thought mine was broken when I first got it, but realized it was just flimsy). The markings that show the ml amount are awfully faint. Had to try and view it in different kinds of light to make sure I could tell where the 1ml mark was. Overall, I won’t be continuing this because of how it made me feel. Going back to my “slow fe” tablets which were always really dependable for me.

This works great! I’ve noticed a change within my body after taking it for three days. Often times, I would experience vertigo and heart palpitations, and extreme fatigue, when it is really low but this supplement helped quicker than expected. I would take it with vitamin C drink, such as berry smoothie drink (Naked) or apple juice. I would take it at least half hour in the morning before eating anything. I am not suggesting this but I also began taking double the recommended amount subscribed. I did not experience any constipations and it was very gentle on me. I did not experience any nausea or stomach aches. This iron supplement is by far the best one for me. The only cons were that it taste just like blood to me. I often would have to do a double take because it would remind me of eating chicken liver 🤮. If you take it with Naked Berry smoothie and mix it well, you really won’t taste it. When you get it on your fingers, it smells exactly like a cast iron skillet.

This stuff is great. It's very dark and absorbed quickly as long as you don't do it too fast. Very strong metal taste but being sublingual you only taste the residue left under your tounge. The 18 mg of this iron in this is better than the others that say 56 mg.
