I purchased this beaded curtain for my daughter's bedroom. She has a small room, and we recently updated it with new furniture. With the new furniture, we were unable to open her closet door more than half way, and had no other options to re-configure the furniture. When thinking about a solution to the problem, I recalled seeing "hanging beads", and thought I'd consider that. As this is not an item sold in most stores, I goggled "doorway beads" and found the most selection through Amazon. After careful consideration of all the options, my daughter and I choose the Color Art Waves beaded curtain. Many other curtains are with plastic beads(or shapes), with strands that are too far seperated to be able to hide what is behind them. They could also tangle easily. This curtain is hand made with bamboo with a beautiful, colorful design. Strands are close together so that the design is appreciable, and for our purpose, able to hide the contents of her closet.We ordered this curtain, standard shipping, on a Sunday morning, and received it Tuesday morning. We were so glad to receive it so quickly. We hung it the same day. It was carefully packed, the strands were not tangled. It was easy to hang. It is obviously hand made, and of very high quality.The most important thing, is that it is beautiful, and is serving its purpose perfectly. No more solid door that can't open fully. My daughter actually has fun going into her closet now! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering a beaded curtain.

This thing is AWESOME! I looked at like every version of this product, and as a rule I only order prime free shipping items. This one time I splurged and paid for the $17(ish) shipping and I’m so glad I did! Looks so good and very durable. My condo is like a wind tunnel, I can’t even keep a calendar on my wall it blows right off. This baby has been blowing in the wind for over a week and no falling pieces at all, I did tie it up when the wind got really scary, because the strands were catching on the strike plate (that little metal thing that the door knob clicks into when door is closed) and I didn’t want to break the bamboo pieces. The sound is super relaxing the video in product images doesn’t do it justice it really sounds like you are walking in a bamboo forest!Only thing is I planned to put it in front of a window to block some light and let air in, however when this is installed so it’s very back lit (eg in front of a super sunny window) the color/pattern kind of disappears, so I ended up changing my plan and installed in doorway as intended. Could not be happier though! Love love love it!

This beaded curtain is everything I hoped it would be and more. Added a pop of colorful design to my deco in addition to privacy. Will be ordering another style for room in my house!!!

I love painted bamboo curtains, so much so, that this latest purchase will be my third one for my home & my first purchase from A Beaded Curtain. First, I received excellent service & quality product from them, so I will definitely be doing business w/them in the future.Now on to the review of the curtain itself. I was looking for something slightly psychedelic without being too over the top or neon in color. This bamboo curtain fit the bill perfectly for me! The colors are vibrant without being too loud or tacky which is what I was looking for. It is hanging in my bedroom doorway & all the beads line up perfectly to create the lovely wave illusion pictured on Amazon's website. It really looks stunning in my doorway. The colors complement my household color scheme quite nicely & my friends think it is simply gorgeous. The curtain itself is well made and was easy to hang, even a novice could do this, it is so easy to do, plus you get the added benefit of hanging hardware included. Alot of beaded curtains sold don't provide that hardware which requires an additional purchase. I am extremely pleased with this purchased and I am looking forward to buying another one in the future from this company. I cut this down to fit a small doorway. I also opted not to use the included hooks, but to screw it directly into my wood frame. I am thrilled with the look and quality of my new beaded curtain!

I ordered 3 of the Color Art Waves curtains to put them together as shown in the pictures. Two of them, the bead strand was 78" and one of them was 77". Unfortunately, the first one that I took out of the box was the short one, and assuming (big mistake) that they were all the same, I made all my measurements for a permanent installation from that curtain. When I took the other curtains out they were 1 inch off on everything and the pattern did not match up at all. I had already cut the curtains to fit the space. So what I had to do was take everything down and had to switch and match up the curtains that did match and had to put back the pieces that were cut. Since everything was built for permanent installation, all the longer strands had to be trimmed and all the strands had to be glued at the bottom so the bead would not drop off. I realize they are handmade and expected the pattern to maybe be a little bit off, but 1 inch off is really unacceptable. My advise is to check the lengths before you do anything or you will end up like I did...A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS! The curtains are now beautiful but I should not have had to adjust them like I did. BUYER BEWARE! I contacted the seller and all they said was "sorry" and "we are glad" they now fit properly. Great customer service!

Poor quality the paint was wet only half of the required hardware is supplied vendor doesn't respond. Third world product sold at first world prices.
