Good value . Give it a go 🙂
Seems reliable initially out of the box. Using this as a server based system and upgraded the hard drive. All working well and settled .

It works very well, for the money it was just what I wanted
Playing music, doing e-mails and writing letters. This machine is as fast as I want it to be. these machines will suit a number of people that just want a computer that is ready to go. I can play my DVD's on it, yes I am that person that still has them. My old system was past its prime and like most things got slower with age, it has now been recycled.

hard drive failed after 4 months
It worked for a time and then the mouse began to drag and would stutter across the screen. I had to re-boot every few days to get this "drag" to go away. Until today when the machine would not boot up.

Cheap Windows 10 PC
Basically I bought this for my children to use for school work, instead of taking my laptop. It's hooked up to a TV and allows my children to access online work that's been set, plus my son can play minecraft on it (he can't use any of our older laptops as they don't have a good enough version of Windows). It was better value than getting a laptop, even after buying a new wireless keyboard and mouse to go with it, plus stops them hiding away in their rooms. Very happy with my choice.

No keyboard or mouse with this unit, be aware.
Good solid unit, nicely bedjut to fit on top of mybserver rack, as a media injest station. Will be getting a 10gig nic installed in this, plus upgrading the ram and HD for an SSD.Also removed win10 and used Linux, good solid unit with decent airflow over the cpu and ram. Also toolless access to main components, very handy. Can't fault dell on the design and can't fault amazon renewed almost as good as new condition.

Good base for pfSense
After upgrading to FTTP and finally coming to the conclusion that retail routers are nothing more than glorified switches, I took the plunge and starting looking into pfSense and it's various hardware routes. As I'm not a network guru, I did some research and found out this PC was a fav amongst the 'home built' versions. Yes, it's way over powered for a 'router', but if I didn't get on with pfSense or found out it was too complicated for a 'non-network trained individual', I could fall back on the Windows 10 install and simply add it to my current network as a 'test bed' machine or some other use. Other than purchasing 2x 250gb SSD's and a quad port, low profile Intel pro 1000 NIC I was all set.The unit has now been running 24/7 for a few days. As long as the power supply holds out, I'm hoping to get a good service life from this machine. Although it has a case fan and a cpu fan, it's barely audible but then it is sitting on top of my network cabinet which has a 4" inline extractor fan pulling air in from the outside lol

A very Good Buy.
I purchased this to replace a worn out slow Dell 780. Arrived next day . On starting up it showed a rear Fan fault ? There isnt one. Press F1 it said and away we went. On downloading my previous old Hd to the new set up It, the advice disappeared and has not been seen since. The fan at the front works ok The rest was plain sailing. It is very quiet and has a large capacity 500 GB HD . My other PC would not read an external HD with all my Pictures on it when I changed to W.10 . The manufacturer had closed down. ect. I luckily had not disposed of it, there's always hope . Plugging it in to a usb on the new one, theres 8 of them, and it.downloaded all my pictures . Windows pro is a bit strange to me, but apart from that it was a very Good Buy.
