i bought fresh crab and used the product as directed. They fell apart when I was frying them. Any thoughts on what went wrong & how to fix?

It's really not a question of using too little binder, but you will have better luck at these not falling apart if you follow the package directions and saute your crab cakes for AT LEAST 5 minutes per side, six minutes might be better,Â and you have your skillet preheated to between 335 and 345 degrees F.
