Royal Robbins Men's San Juan Short Sleeve Shirt

I love the Royal Robin San Juan shirts and own several in both long and short sleeves. They fit well, if on the roomy side, which suits my rather disappointing physique. They dress up, they dress down, breathe well and go with everything I wear in my day to day.My only complaint is that they don't last very long; losing buttons in the washer/dryer and becoming threadbare very quickly. The buttons are metal and the thread that fastens them is tough but it seems the fabric isn't enough to anchor them to the placket. I've bought 3 of this particular color because it's my favorite but the shirts keep failing. Which is irritating because they're not inexpensive.

Read "Modal" care instructions on line before purchasing this shirt. Absolute pain in the butt to get wrinkles removed, if at all. Would not recommend. Will not purchase anything "Modal again.Ok after two washings shirt has gotten easier to iron. Can't get a crisp press but the shirt doesn't look like I slept in it. It is a very comfortable shirt. Maybe I need time to become familiar with the Modal fabric. I would give it another half star and if ironing results improve I would recommend the shirt.

The fabric of this shirt is of a little heavier weight than I expected, but is breathable, with a jacquard weave. The shirt is made well, and fits as expected, so is quite comfortable.

Good fit and color was accurate. Seems to wrinkle a little easier than, for example, the Merrell shirt this replaced. No big deal, for half the price, I will happily overcome/ignore a few wrinkles.

I had been looking at this shirt at REI, and even after a 20% discount, the REI price was significantly higher than this one. I have a couple other Royal Robbins shirts, and I like their fit and "subtle" look. I expect the same from this one.

The shirt looks very nice, dries easily and is light-weight. It doesn't wrinkle much while being worn, but it wrinkles really badly after being packed in a luggage bag. What we do is to soak it in water and hang it up to dry. It will look fine again pretty quickly.

In like 5’8” and had to have the bottom hemmed... loved the shirt but another 12.00

I would love this if it was more wash and wear but out of the washer or dryer it is wrinkled to the point you need to iron it. The shirt fits nice and looks nice but is not as comfortable as some of the others i bought. However overall i am happy with the purchase
