I've been trying to take care of my natural, 4C hair by keeping it moisturized, but it's hard to find a moisturizer that actually... moisturizes. i got tired of buying overpriced products that are specifically for naturals. i randomly saw "chebe" and "karkar oil" mentioned in a natural hair group by an African user. who else would have better natural products for natural, Africanoid hair than Africa?!i bought this and have been using it regularly for two weeks. on its own, i don't like it as much, and i find my hair to be wiry and my curls extra tight. however, i added a tablespoon of the oil to some water in a spray bottle, and i spritz my hair until it's damp. i added a few tablespoons of the oil to a moisturizer along with jamaican black castor oil, and it has REALLY made a difference to my hair! since it's too much for my scalp, i mix this oil with jamaican black castor oil only and apply it to my scalp, then i massage my scalp for a few minutes. my hair is softer and my coils looser for a couple of days.i've also added a couple of tablespoons of the oil to my shampoo and conditioner, and i've used the moisturizer combo i mentioned earlier as a leave-in.there are tiny granules in the oil that get caught in the coils. it doesn't bother me because i wear a headwrap, but i can imagine that it would annoy others.i hope the inclusion of this product continues to work for my hair.

I'm giving this 4 stars because I want to give this a fair chance to work. I haven't seen any change in mine and my daughter's hair when we use it. I will say that this has a very strong medicinal smell. I wouldn't say it stinks but it smells like maybe vick's if I had to compare the smell. My head has always been sensitive and this itches me after a while so I doubt i'll be doing the go 30 days challenge. This could be due to the karkar oil because certain oils make my head itch( i cant use coconut on my hair at all). I do appreciate that the chebe is already mixed in the oil because the powder process looks messy. I may try this brand with the chebe mixed in a different oil that might help with the itching issue.

I have only good things to say after using this oil. I can see the moisture in my 4c hair.I also notice that i can mix it well with other creams. Im ordering again.

I love this product and all of it's natural ingredients. I put it in my hair and two strand twist it and leave it in until I can do the process all over again. That's usually 7 days due to my schedule and when I have the time to take me hair down and repeat the process.I've always had trouble locking moisture in my hair. I've done this process 3 times so far and my hair is silky, soft, shiny, and I have zero breakage now. I know its working because a co-worker asked me how Im able to have such shiny, juicy twists. I will continue to buy, buy, buy! I love the smell as well smells like its 100% all natural and I love it. Will be giving update soon!❤❤

Strong grassy smell and the grit of the product is hard to get out especially if your hair has tight coils. Does leave hair feeling moisturized

This stuff does not grow nor do anything for your hair. I believed the hype and then silly me - forgot to send off to return the product . So , I'm stuck with an overpriced product that I'll never use again.

I left a review on the original site to! That’s how much I love this product! This stuff is absolutely amazing! I’ve been using it for the past month and it has literally transformed the texture of my hair. My curly 4b/c hair now feels like silk and it’s really starting to retain length and extreme moisture! Detangling is never an issue anymore even after I wash it. My fingers run right through my hair like butter!! I wish I knew of this Chadian secret years ago!! My hair is seriously thanking me now!

Amazing! My hair feels softer, and it elongates my coils. 10/10 will be purchasing again very soon..
