Good flavor

I have type 2 diabetes, at certain times of day I get low blood sugar. My doctors told me to get a prescription for sugar pills. Which cost a lot, considering it's only sugar. So instead, I buy a big box of chocolate bars every couple of weeks. I break off two or three rows of "nibs" (those little square divisions) and it has about the same amount of sugar that my doctor recommends for reversing low blood sugar events (15 - 20 g). Sadly though, with diabetes I can't just munch on these all day like I wish I could!!(NOTE: I'm NOT a medical professional, this is NOT intended as medical advice - just telling my own experience. If you also have blood sugar issues, please consult a medical doctor!)That said... for people who are allowed to eat chocolate all day long...Dove is SO SMOOTH, it's fabulous. Comparable in texture to Cadbury's. But I prefer the flavor of Cadbury's a bit better. Well, Cadbury's does milk chocolate better but Dove does dark chocolate better - at least that's my opinion. It is available in several flavors, so you should easily find one or two or SIX that you like. I'd say these are pretty good.My list of the BEST CHOCOLATE IN THE USA: 1. Cadbury's. 2. Hershey's. 3. Dove. 4. Mars. 5. Nestle and the rest.

Simply Sublime! The Silkiest Smoothest Dark Chocolate You Will Find. I don't like milk chocolate much anymore because the sugar is so intense. These are not in the least bitter! I regularly give these bars away Sad to see that I can't seem to find the boxes of Dove Dark Chocolate Individual Bars at Sams anymore! This chocolate is silky smooth, better than a Hershey or other bar, once you give it a shot - have a few bars, once you try it with your favorite Beverage, you won't go back! - it has fiber, lower sugar, and is a healthier chocolate to eat. You feel like you're eating pure decadence! I bought these big bars because it's almost as good as the individual bars. I also bought a couple of boxes of individual regular bars from amazon, but i bought these in case the pricing goes up on those. These are a great value. If you can't give up chocolate and can't quite cotton to other dark chocolate - there is NO Bitterness with these bars. They must be fresh! They need to be in a environment that's not too hot. But usually if you have a decent expiration date, they stay amazing! DOVE is the Only Dark Chocolate. You will be a convert if you try this!

After a lifetime of eating commercial grade chocolate bars, I decided to step up my game. I'm now 71 and I deserve the best life has to offer. Life is short, so why pinch pennies?I looked into Consumer Reports for the best milk chocolate bar commercially available. They explained about the many issues chocolate makers face with this product. Driving all of this is the Issue of the melting point of chocolate and how it will hold up on the shelf as well as in the individual's hand. Dove has managed to create a product that will survive on the shelf and in the hand. Yet it is quick to melt on the tongue. This is the Emperor of milk chocolate. It is 3.3 obscene ounces of indulgence. (There is a 1.44 once little brother bar.)If all your life you had eaten McDonald's and Burger King and suddenly you were given Kobe beef to eat, this would be like that. Hershey's Cadbury, Toblerone, Milkyway, etc. Then suddenly you taste your first Dove milk chocolate bar. It is a transcendent experience.PS: I currently have more on order.
