American Originals Automatic Wine Corkscrew Opener, Electric Rechargeable

The wine opener is not usable Broke after one use. Did not seem to be enough power and the screw did not go into the bottle enough. It is being charged so that was not the problem. I guess the price was to good to be true.

I had to exchange this item and the replacement did exactly the same thing ( the corkscrew came apart from the housing) rendering it useless except for the foil cutter.Can't use it.

This was a gift for my sister. She loved it! In fact, she thinks I need to order one for myself.

It didn't have enough power to pull the cork the first time I used it. I had to twist the unit clockwise while holding the on button to get the cork out. Panic of junk.

Bought it for it's look. Big mistake. Charge doesn't even last for one cork. Has to be on the charger all the time. I will go back to Oster.

Bought this corkscrew opener for my Mom, but the first time we used it, the corkscrew broke off of it. It looks cool, but proved to be worthless.

Not good

I got this opener as a gift and didn't get around to using it until 100 days after I got it. It was dead out of the box - I called the manufacturer Midwest Trading Group and they said tough luck. I asked if I should just throw it away and they said "I guess so". LOUSY SERVICE!!!Also, this product has false advertising: They call their brand "American Originals" - too bad it's completely made in China - they just import them, throw a mailing label on it and ship it out. It should be called "China Originals"!

I plugged the opener in for 12 hours before using it, but it would not open the first bottle of wine, so now I have retired it.
