Fun gift!
I am old enough to remember the original Rubik’s Cube craze and this item is similar to the Rubik’s Cube. I was never able to solve the original but it was fun and maybe frustrating to try. This “world map” cube feels sturdy enough and the mechanism works fine. However, I haven’t scrambled it up more than I can undo because I want to give it to a young person as a gift. It is educational because of the map and also quirky because it turns the world (which is a globe) into a square. It might be a fun gift for a person of the “flat earth” persuasion! But as I said, it’s going to a young person as a gift.

Cute toy
Cute toy to sit on a desk, somehow the equator was not in the middle of the cube.

Had to have it for my collection :)
It's nicely made, but for the price it doesn't turn as well as some cubes that cost half as much. Still it's pretty awesome and a great addition to my collection. I like how it's printed on and not stickered. It has the basic screw adjustments for spring tension but none of the modern speed cube design features, so corner cutting is not the greatest. Honestly though, I can't imagine myself speed solving this because the patterns are hard to recognize. It's super challenging and fun since I'm not great at geography, and as with all picture cubes, the centers need proper orientation so that forced me to refresh on that. I made the mistake of not familiarizing myself with the solved cube before scrambling it right away LOL, so my first solve took about 15 minutes. The Equator is offset so that gives a major clue if you start with an Antarctica cross. It is also a standard sized cube. Very happy with this, thank you.
