This deadcat is a game changer. It takes you Comica v30 Lite and allows you to use it outside even on the windiest days.It really does a great job of cutting the wind. It slides right one the microphone and you do not have to remove the windscreen. This is great because you can keep everything together. No need to pack back in your bad.The biggest downside is the size. If you want small and compact this might not be the best option. The design, quality, workmanship, price and function of this windscreen are all excellent. This is the best quality windscreen I've purchased yet. It is easy to put on, works great, and can even be used to store other items in when traveling. I use it to protect my Tascam DR-05 when traveling, which I sometimes use along with the mic to record audio. It's a great tool to have when it's windy and the foam is not enough. Never leave home, or studio, without it!

Used this for my Comica microphone V30 lite. Unfortunately when using jus this cover with the microphone, it does not block wind very well. I noticed that wind from a ceiling fan was heard on my recordings. This is without the foam cover to the microphoneSo had to place the foam cover back on mic, then wrap this cover over the foam and it did block the wind from the ceiling fan, but it was a hassle to put the cover on...time I do not want to spend in the future.

Helps with noise reduction but was too big and fluffy for my camera and slightly covers the lens.

I have a long shotgun mic, and my old "dead cat" - yes, that's what they're known as, one colleague pets it for good luck whenever he's with me on a shoot - and while this is shorter than the mic seemed to be a good buy. It works well, and pulled over foam windscreen stays nicely in place. And, not, it's not real cat (synthetic fur), just looks like a cat's fat tail. And my greyhounds think it's something to chase ;)

This mic does the job! It has helped me with my video work that I do. I have been able to record clean and clear audio that I once wasn't able to get.It makes a big difference without breaking the bank in costs. The seller was very quick to respond and mail out my shipment. I would purchase again from them.

Bought this for the Comica shotgun mic, and what can I say? It works, and is a no-brainer if you get the comica mic.
