LEGO Super Heroes Spider-Cycle Chase 76005

For my money, this is the best Spider-Man LEGO set released so far. For what you get for the money, and the ingenuity of the build itself, you just can't beat it. MINIFIGS: 1. Spider-Man: The least impressive minifig in the set, though of course the character is a must in your Marvel line-up. Still, I wish they'd printed boots and had side-printing on the head to make it more realistic to the source material. As with the other Spider-Man sets, I do like the use of the rope element for webbing, though. 2. Nick Fury: Sorely missing from last year's Avengers sets, it's awesome that we finally get a Fury figure! It's the Ultimate Spider-Man version of the character, which means that the figure itself isn't overly detailed, but he'll fit in just fine with the movie versions of the Avengers figures. 3. Venom: This is a really impressive minifig! Not only is it completely loyal to the original comics, but he comes with a ton of extra black symbiote goo in the form of tendrils and spikes. You can attach them to his hands and back to make him even more menacing! SET: Although I love the minifigs, the set is actually where this shines (usually it's the opposite with the superheroes line). Nick Fury's flying car is beautifully designed with some interesting techniques (the window, especially). I love how the wheels move up for flight mode and the back part also transforms to shoot missiles. It feels totally in keeping with the source material and is really awesome. Spider-man's bike is something that I was never a fan of in the show, as he really doesn't need it, but it works really well here. Like the car, it can transform into flight mode by raising the wheels. This is an awesome feature! I just left the Spider-Man sticker off of it and use it as another SHIELD vehicle.

I purchased this set mostly for the Venom minifigure, but the entire set is amazing. Lego has done a great job of creating minifigures that are a perfect representation of their comic counterparts. The tendrils on the venom minifig, or the white webbing rope for spider-man show great attention to detail while not over-complicating the figures. The entire set took around 30 minutes to build. I would suggest this set to any spider-man or venom fan. This set is a home run for me, due to the amazing vehicles and minifigures. With the price of this set in the sub-$20 range I feel it is a no-brainer for any marvel fan.

Any parent who started Netflix to watch "Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload" 1000 times will appreciate this set. It contains Nick Fury's car (with secret hidden missile launchers, of course), Spider-Man's Spider-Bike, and a super-sweet Venom mini-fig all of which my son insists are his favorite. Even my 2 yo daughter is a BIG fan of the Spider-Bike. Fury's secret agent car is a sturdy design with the aforementioned hidden missiles, cool rotating wheels (because it HAS TO fly), and a novel way to attach the windshield. MID-REVIEW UPDATE : "I want to watch that one! The one with New Jersey! New Jersey makes it funny! Come on, Daddy, stop typing!!!" LOL I opened another browser window to make sure I correctly typed the name of the show and my son saw it. So now we are going to go watch it again. Anyway, this is a great set, moderately priced, and which contains three essential Marvel Mini-Figs. I would recommended it.

My daughter (3.5 years old) absolutely loves this set. She needed help building it but with it assembled she thinks the two included vehicles and 3 minifigs are a blast. Her particular favorite is the web-rope, she loves attaching it between spiderman and objects/minifigs and dragging things around. Pros: - Three great minifigs. - Two fantastic vehicles, both transform and have several play functions. - The web-rope is a fun and clever addition. Cons: - I'm not a fan of paper stickers on lego. With my kids playing with this daily I just know they're going to get scratched off soon enough, I wish they'd just silkscreen the few stickers on instead.

My 5 year old son is newly obsessed with Legos, and I have to say, buying this set when it was on sale was a STEAL. He loves the minifigures and building Nick Fury's car. The set is pretty cool, as far as finished product goes. The car is big- about as big as a red brick (obviously not as heavy). My boy loves to follow the included instructions. They are easy to decipher even for him. He likes to share the "spidey-cycle" with his little sister (who is old enough not to put things in her mouth) and they race each other around the living room. Lego is always a safe brand and a sure-fire hit in our home, but this was one of the best sets we've ever bought, bar none. The minifigures alone (VENOM, ANYONE??? PLUS HIS SYMBIOTES) were worth the price I paid.

I mainly got this because it was on sale and I really wanted a Spidey LEGO minifig. The set is easy to put together and it comes with some neat pieces. My favorite is probably a piece that slings over Venom's back to connect the tentacles to. It has a connector sticking off the back of it (like a wheel axel) that I've never seen before as a backpack connector, so that will be fun to fool around with with other pieces for other minifigs. That alone makes the set pretty unique. The spider bike is also pretty cool

kids loved it, my feet not so much. This is a cool toy just like all other legos. I am just not sure how they can make something so kid friendly yet so deadly to a midnight barefoot walk to get a drink of water. I am sure there were only a few dozen pieces in the box, but I have been finding hundreds of these tiny little land mines all over the house. It's like they multiply while I am sleeping and then cast themselves out across my living room to lay in wait for me to get thirsty after bedtime. They're just little bits of plastic. but I swear when I stand on them it's like they're all holding tiny little axes and pitch forks that they shove into my feet as I wander by half awake. But the kids love 'em so I will probably buy more.

This set is well worth the money. Lots of pieces and so fun for my 4 yr old grandson. He made all kinds of things before we even looked at the instructions. This is what I like the best about legos. Kids can use their imagination. I think this set is one of the best yet, due to the fact that there are so many pieces. it includes 3 mini-figures as well, which are worth the price for the whole set if you have ever priced mini-figures. Amazon always has the best prices and selection of legos. Highly recommend!!
