I have the white one but really wanted the linen color as you can’t really seeThe pattern on the white. Their photos of these are so not helpful. They will show a color and not tell you which one is shown. It was a gamble ordering the linen with a lack of seeing it. It was way too brown and dark. I was expecting it to be more of an oatmeal color like it shows on the website. Color was not even remotely what’s was hoping for. Sending this back. Quality is top notch but too bad the color is too warm and dark. Not neutral enough to go with greys and whites

This stoic Norwegian was moved practically to tears at the beauty and nostalgia of this timeless classic. Even its smell seems freshly milled. My Gram and great-Gram's had ones very much like this. I remember hopping up in Grandma and Grandpa's tall bed as a toddler on their farm so that Gram could read Peter Rabbit by fluorescent light to the accompaniment of Grandpa's sonorous snores. Who said you can't buy happiness.

I'm absolutely in love with this spread. The pattern is graceful and quite lovely, and the quality is exceptional. I purchased the king size, which covers the bed nicely falling just a few inches above the floor. I prefer it be off the floor, so I'm thrilled about that.This spread is worth every penny of the $270. I paid for it. I'll have it forever, and my daughter after me.

The main reason I bought this was the size. I can't put a bed ruffle on our adjustable bed, so I need a bedspread that was long enough to hide the base of the bed. Plus, the length is also long enough to tuck under the pillows and cover them as well. It is beautifully made. I was also surprised at the weight. I figured it would be light and that I would need a heavier blanket, but it wasn't needed. The only thing is that I got the Antique color, so the beautiful pattern is very subtle. I think the other colors would show off the pattern more.

I’ve been a fan of these bedspreads for years. We recently moved up to a king size bed and everything I bought looked like high water pants. Our bed height is 25 inches., fringe is 6 inches off the floor. Perfect. Lots of length to cover king pillows Plus more. The weight is heavy and warm, the design is classic. Money well spent. I should have bought this first!

Forty-eight years ago my husband and I purchased a Bates bedspread for our queen size bed. Not only was it beautiful but it lasted for decades. The quality of the bedspread is undeniable. So glad these bedspreads are once again available. It gives the room class!!

I love my new bedspread. Find it to be quite heavy and perfect for the winter here in Ga. Will probably need to purchase a lighter bedspread for summer. The color is perfect. I ordered the antique/linen and find it really highlights the design. The quality is what I expect from this company and was not disappointed.

Yes, it’s a bit grandmom’ish but beautiful nonetheless. I’ve had it for over a year and it has held up just fine - survived the washing machine as well. I use it all year round.
