These pens are a real joy to use and an absolute gem of a find!I'm a little bit wary of sellers who call their products 'brush pens'. Some are, but sadly I've bought a few sets from Amazon that have nothing in common with a true brush pen. So I was really happy to find out that these pens are the real deal with a wonderfully flexible brush nib that allows you to fill areas as if painting. The end point is fine but with enough surface that you can alter pressure and angle for thin and thick strokes.The pen barrels are slender and nice to hold and work with.The ink is beautifully metallic and shimmering for nearly all the colours although some catch the light better than others. The blues and greens are divine! All the colours have the metallic element and are clearly metallic in nature except for the black and white which don't show their metallic hues on the same scale as the other 18 colours. Under the right angle I think there's a slight sheen but it's not so obvious.The ink flows is smooth and dense. On normal 80gsm paper there is no ghosting and no bleeding, either through the paper or by feathering along the edges. The quality is phenomenal.Although the pens are water based inks, the rich pigments, flow, and permanence on paper are all superb features. However, blendability scores nil points. These do not blend. At all. They will work over one another amazingly well, yellow will completely mask out the orange below, purple is bright and lush on top of blue.My niggle, and anyone who likes to draw art will know this too well... The pen cap colours are at times out on a poetic licence when trying to work out which colours are which. It took me a while to figure out some of the colours, and longer to figure out the metal shades. Pink caps are red, or purple, or pink! Dark green is actually lake green, the lighter cap is the dark green. And take your pick from five browns over which is which. This happens quite a lot anyway with so many people sets. The pens are of such a high quality that between constructing a colour chart and popping small labels onto the barrels, I know what's what. It doesn't apply to every single shade, some are obviously what they should be, but it's a case of swatching and marking your pens for use.When would these pens be useful? Well, everyday art and sketches for me, and as these mark over primer paint and matte wall paints beautifully, they suit some of my container upcycling projects. I think for many crafts and card making, they're an asset. They are perfect for filling shapes and colouring in areas, less useful for fine writing (match these with a set of metallic fine liners for line work and filling in). The brush nibs will do a very neat job indeed.The pens are nicely presented in a printed cardboard packet. A little tricky trying to put them away as there's no slots, so you have to shake the packet to get them to sit flat and line up.I've taken quite a few photographs which I hope will be useful to anyone who comes across these pens and is considering a purchase. They're well worth it and I'll be back for another set! This set is another to add to my "great stuff" art box.

I absolutely love those pens! I bought them for a gift but ended up keeping them after trying them on rocks! They are very easy to use, dry instantly, the colours are vibrant and you can draw on top of any colours without smudge, i love it! You can perfect your drawing or just do it all over again like a white board (at least on rocks). They could work on the smell as they smells funny but they’re so nice you forget about it. The tip is more like a nail polish brush than a regular pen but it allows you to draw fine or thick drawing. I would buy it again and recommend it for anyone rock painting.

These really do have great colour for metallic pens and are a lovely quality. I love the brush (but still pointy tip) it means the liquid flows beautifully and there is no need to press the end down to flood the big like with some metallic pens.My only criticism is that some of mine the brush nib can just disappear up inside or fall out (it could be that a couple of the pens I have are a little faulty?They are otherwise fab.

With the summer holidays coming up I’ve been looking for cheap activities to do with my son in the house that don’t involve batteries!He normally doesn’t actually have a long attention span if it doesn’t include fighting. We’re currently doing a spare jar that I once used for pva glue.The actual design of the pens is great, he’s bending the brush on the pends with his application and they’ve still maintained shape and we’ve also got quite a large selection for the price!Will definitely buy again!

Bought these pens to decorate a scrapbook album so will be using them on black card. The metallic colours are beautiful and there a lot to choose from. The ink drys quickly and so far has left no smudges. I would have preferred a slightly thinner tip for more intricate details but overall I am happy with the quality of this product. My package arrived on time and as requested. Will buy again

This pens are amazing value for money! The range of colours are great and they work really well. Great Brush tips too, which is rare!I am thrilled with this purchase as previous metallic markers colours were dull. These ones dont show as bright in the photo as they really are! Would definitely buy again!

When I used the 1st pen in the box the colour of the cap was a bright pink so I chose that colour to paint a love heart shape. The colour when applied onto the page came out a deep purple. I picked up the cap to check the colour and used it on another paper and again it was deep purple, so I decided to make a sample of all of the colours in the pack and all of them seemed a different shade than what the caps were displaying. The room was naturally light when I did this. I decided then to shine my fluorescent LED Lamp onto it and the metallic reflection made the colours appear much lighter. I have submitted my photos for you to see. I would have given this product 5 stars because they feels great and the brush tips are amazing. I chose these particular pens for their bright colours so I’m quite disappointed that they are dull in natural light and need to illuminate the image to get the required colour.

Bought as a present for my granddaughter. Her opinion was "they are amazing, and I love the colours".What more can you say.

Reçu très rapidement. Stylo qui s'utilise facilement comme un fin pinceau à dessin. Même si je ne suis pas très doué, j'ai eu l'idée de redonner un nouveau look à ma coque de téléphone portable ! chacun ses goûts :) sèche très rapidement et il même possible de mélanger les couleurs. Livré rapidement, ces marqueurs présentent une jolie palette de couleurs qui ressortent bien sur un papier foncé. Seul bémol (c'est pourquoi je n'ai pas mis 5) : il est difficile de faire un trait fin. Le marqueur agit comme un pinceau et je ne suis pas vraiment parvenue à l'utiliser pour écrire finement.
