Game of Thrones: The Costumes, the official book from Season 1 to Season 8

The book is beautiful and it arrived earlier than expected. I'm so satisfied.

This is a perfect book in a lot of respects. A GOT fan gets a close up of a lot of costumes and can see how detailed they are. It's a large book with thick glossy pages. A good number of photos are full page and have close up detailed images of certain portions.Highly recommended and worth full price.

I've actually never seen the tv show but was recommended this book as an art doll artist. I have to say the detail in the costumes is fantastic. This is a very large book and covers a large number of costumes worn in the show. If you're into costume making or art doll clothing I would highly recommend this book. It's a quality hard cover, has beautiful pictures and drawings and printed on quality paper.

Just like her costumes Michele Clapton’s book is of stunning quality! Every detail in the making of this book has her hand in it. The smallest details such as the quality of paper and the golden embossing to the photographs and the details that are half the story. If you really want to know about Game of Thrones buy this book. You will get a sense of what the actors must have felt being able to put on such masterpieces and then portray their craft to the highest degree of professionalism. Wow, what an incredible book! It's a heavy one- you definitely get your money's worth as far as the amount of detail and gorgeous photography. I was very impressed. They're separated my family and character. I think it's normally 70 dollars so the Amazon price is a steal. Even if it's not your favorite show, it's amazing to see the work and thought that went into everything they made. This would be a great gift!

I just received this and I am completely blown away by this book! Heavy paper, sooo many photos, and commentary by Michele Clayton. Lots of close up photos of details that you never saw on tv. I am in total lust over this book. Quick warning - this book is *super* heavy, probably about 8 pounds. That's how packed full of info and photos it is. Definitely not a cheap ass quickie money making book.

I didn't imagine it to be so huge, it's heavy to the point of a little uncomfortable (don't lay it on your laps), but for the price it's so worth it! There are a lot of detailed photos of the costumes and I even enjoyed the text explaining the thoughts behind the design.I don't watch GoT. Bought it only for the costume designs and totally love it

All the images and descriptions of the how and why the costumes were made the way they were are impressive and full. The piece of information that was a revelation is that Dany's costume evolves over the series as she tries to find her own 'look' straight into the costume of her vile brother by the end. It shows the tragedy was set up much earlier by the crew than by the writers. I love this book.
