I purchased this retro pink phone for work and I absolutely love it, the ring tone could be a tad louder as the tone blends with all other sounds, now if it were absolutely quiet, then it would be too loud, but it’s definitely not quiet in my restaurant/retail store, also the handle is heavier than I expected and that’s a plus

From the moment I first saw it, I fell in love. I live in the country and sometimes cell service gets spotty and we are prone to losing power during summer storms, so we have a landline. I wanted something pretty for my bedroom so I could talk privately to my friends and co-workers. This was the one!!

The first one I bought was ruined by a static electricity shock I accidentally gave it after walking across the carpet to answer the phone. It messed its wiring up and after that I couldn't call out and the dial tone could be heard with the receiver on the cradle. The same thing happened to the subsequent phone I bought. A static electricity shock ruined the wiring and then the phone rang by itself every 6 seconds. Got a third one and this time I picked up the receiver w/ a towel. Then I touched the phone w/ my other hand and it gave it a small static shock. Again, the phone doesn't work. Now I can't call out and get a continuous busy signal. I will return this last one and not get another. Not surprising. What is amazing is that this phone can't take any kind of static electricity shock. It's defective.

This phone is perfect for what I needed. It's modern with retro styling! Matte black, handset weight is right on and it has a speakerphone function! Now when I can't reach my kids on their cell phones I can call the house! Highly recommend!

I love it! It’s actually pretty heavy and feels substantial like old phones used to. It gets a lot of comments from people who are surprised it’s a functioning phone.

I had hoped the ringtone would be consistent with the retro features. Unfortunately, the ringtone is a modern, low-frequency electronic burbling. I would vastly prefer a digital bell-ringing sound, as it would be more in keeping with the retro character of this product.

Overall the look and feel is good, but there are some features that could be improved. The backlight for the Caller ID is only lit when you pickup the handset and there isn't any volume control for the handset. Also, the Caller ID screen only shows the number and not the name. The screen also has a narrow viewing angle. So I opened it up and added an LED inside to keep the screen dimly lit always (mostly so that it is visible in a dark room) and I added a volume control to the handset. I'd prefer a "reverse glow" screen where the numbers/characters are lit instead of the background lit with dark numbers.

I love it. It fit right into my decor and the weight of the phone feels good - not heavy.
