Daniel was shown a pair of felt shoes fashioned from waste pieces of piano felt which had been made in the Dolgeville Felt Mill. Daniel Green noticed that these felt shoes were worn by many factory workers to keep their feet warm and comfortable on the cold factory stone floors, and thus a legend in footwear was born. See more

My first time bought Daniel Green shoes size 13 W. I love it! :-)
My first time bought Daniel Green shoes size 13 W on Amazon. I love it! It's fit on me perfect! It's made in China. I'm surprise inside color is black that what I got instead from red color picture is show on Amazon and Daniel Green websites. Awesome! :-)I bought used Daniel Green shoes size 13 (without wide) on ebay website and it fit on me but feel small on my sides of both feet are little tight then I have to get 13 Wide instead it would fit on me perfect. My used Daniel Green shoes are made in Taiwan.I wear man OluKai slide shoes size 13 is little big and loose on my both side of my feet little bit. When I wash my man OluKai slide shoes with soap and warm water every few days, about few hours later it's get very stink odor smell because of real leather when I sit on chair or couch and I can smell odor from my shoes. I don't like stink smell odor from my OluKai shoes. About 2 - 3 days later for dry then smell go away little bit. I don't like OluKai shoes anymore because it's very expensive or very high prices like 60 dollars to 120 dollars like crazy due to real leather. I would never buy OluKai shoes again because of terrible smell odor from real leather is allergy to me.I had old man tennis shoes size 12 is worn out so bad because I wear a lot everyday like school, shopping, etc. Tennis shoes are very hard to repair because leather and soles look bad have to throw in trash. If get dirty on faux leather is very easy to clean with soap and warm water then dry it with soft towel then re-use again, again. Hand wash only on our real hands to clean shoes in bath tub or bucket filled with warm water with any soap (Dove, Caress, etc like bar or liquid with face towel or wash towel) to make smell on shoes so great. Never put shoes in washing machine will ruin and mess up them so bad. When faux leather upper become worn out in the future. I know how to replace faux leather on my own and apply shoe glue to repair my shoes in the future. Save my money than throw away in trash. I'm not basic person. I'm clever like advanced and skilled person know how to repair faux leather for any shoes to save money for many years to going. People should know how to fix their own shoes more easy. Thanks to Amazon so much! Also thanks to Daniel Green company for this awesome shoes and please keep making more Daniel Green shoes now and in the future. I love your shoes so much and feel so great under my feet because of faux leather. I would buy Daniel Green shoes again in near future. ;-) winkDaniel Green shoes are so awesome and please don't give up to keep making a lot of shoes! :-) smile

Sturdy slipperr
I remember years ago my mom had these exact slippers and they lasted for what seemed like forever. Here I am now her age and Danielle Green is still around and I ordered the exact same slipper. They are comfortable and offer great support for your feet. Great summer slipper. The price was not bad for what you get. I recomend these slippers.

my mom loves these!!
these slippers are great for her. they're comfy for her to walk around in the house. she's been wearing them for years. they get a five star from her.for me, they only get one star because they make noise whenever she walks around the house it's like clip clop clip clop constant like she's riding a horse around the kitchen and living room (and she's quite skinny!) 😂 drives me nuts. but she loves them so 4 stars

Pretty and feminine.
I would give this brand 5 stars, but cannot because the quality is not the same as in the past. I believe they were made of leather back in the 70's and earlier. Therefore, they were nicer looking and more comfortable. Otherwise I like them because they are practical. Easy to slip on and off. Easy to clean. Durable for outdoors. Plus this style passes for a normal shoe..

Pretty slippers but check for defects
My first order of this shoe: Left slipper is OK and right slipper is defective with scuff marks & much wider than the left shoe. Unfortunately I threw the box away so could not return. Shipping & and delivery was excellent. My second order of this shoe: Slippers are comfortable & nice color, love them! The 5 star rating is for my second order. Shipping and delivery was excellent!

good looking
though these slippers are nice looking and fit properly, they are not all that comfortable, which is the point of wearing slippers. maybe when they are broken in they will be more comfortable, however, having never had to "break in" slippers before, it's the main reason for the 3 stars. they seem to be well made, though the material used for the uppers seems a bit on the cheap side. also, my feet tend to slide around quite a bit on the foot bed. overall, if I had not gotten such a good price on them, I would be returning them. keeping them strictly for their looks and the hopes they will age well.

Daniel Green dormie slippers
I have been wearing this same brand and style of slipper at home for over 50 years. I used to buy them in stores, then I ordered direct from Daniel Green. Most recently the only place I could find them was Amazon and it looks like Amazon is about out of stock. Obviously the manufacturer has discontinued the product. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when my mist recent pair wears out.
