Great product
This stuff is great!! I've used other 'water-based' wood fill products. This is far superior. There is mixing required (base with hardener) Don't mix too much at once, as it will set up in a few minutes. But it is easy to use, is sandable in 20 minutes. There is some odor; use outdoors or in well ventilated area. Paints well. Generous size can with hardener. Recommend

Works if you cannot easily replace the rotted wood
In my case the seamless gutters had leaked at the corners and caused rot in the cheap press paper board. After sealing the gutter leak I decided to patch the fascia boards with this since removing all the gutters to replace the board was going to be a pain. Worked well and the repair blends right inObviously you will have to repaint.

Awesome!
This is an excellent product. I had a few deck boards the were severely rotted. The final result is unbelievable. After lightly sanding and painting the areas, you can't even tell where the bad spot were. Watch the instruction video in the description and make sure you mix the hardener in a well-ventilated area. I sanded after an hour and painted immediately after. You have to be quick as it dries fast. Very happy with my purchase. My 30-year old deck looks new.

Easy to work with especially mixing
Repairing a wood saddle on my back door that rotted out so instead of replacing cutting everything out, I use Bondo and it worked fantastic sand it down paint it and it would save me a lot of work, trying to cut that saddle out and put a new one in I recommended highly for repairs

A good product for filling larger holes and cracks.
This filler is a little tricky to use. You have to work relatively fast as it tends to harden rather quickly. I tried different amounts of hardener to try to lengthen the set up time but didn't seem to help. So only mix small amounts at one time. The odor is very strong so work with it in a well ventilated area...can give you a headache! It sets up very hard, easy to sand and prep for painting, etc. It basically worked very well for my project...filling a very large gap between a wall and a door casing.

Amazing stuff!
This stuff works great to fill rotted hole anything wood. I used it on my wooden balcony railing and posts that rotted out. Cleaned out the rotten wood and filled it with this and it is stronger than ever. Hardens quickly so you have to mix it with the hardener in small batches and apply and then mix more to finish. Sandable and paintable! Heck of a lot cheaper and easier than replacing the entire rail!

No instructions for use.
I received the bondo, just fine. But amazingly there are no directions on the can for use, nor any paper instructions . The can has a huge lid and under it is a small tube of something that I assume gets mixed into the stuff in the can. Paper instructions could easily fit under the lid with the tube. This is ridiculous.

This stuff is great.
I was doubtful about this but a new door/window unit was going to be over $4k. The bottom of the door frame was completely rotten. Luckily it was only outside damage. I was able to clean it up, remove rotted wood, treat with rot arrester and apply the wood filler. I think it looks great. I had to do 3 applications. It is sandable in about 20 min. Only mix what you can use in about 5 min. After that it’s like spreading oatmeal. I guess you could use a little less hardener if you need longer. I needed it to harden quickly since I was filling a large space. I used a Bondo blade to spread it.
