BOTTLE BOTTLE Flip Top Lid Replacement Cap for Insulated Water Bottle with mouth diameter 1.69 in. /4.3 cm

i am picky. about everything. especially a bottle that I carry with me all day long (I live in AZ and water is life!). This top was the only design I could find that accomplished the requirements I had: 1) fast, one-handed opening 2) large enough spout to pour water fast (not have to suck it out) 3) easy to clean 4) durable 5) sanitary cover for the parts you put your lips to #1-2 were obvious when I ordered it and it satisfied after use without any disappointment #3-4 we not clear to me until after I used it for a while. and let me tell you, they nailed it. all the nooks an crannies in the assembly are simple and it doesnt have weird inside that will trap mold. also I just pop it in the top rack pof the dishwasher from time to time. it cleans very easily by hand as well. regarding the hinge, its a simple hinge that holds tension by stretching a little rubber band thingy. I thought that would be the major flaw. but I use this all day, every day, and it is showing no signs of wear. I am glad to see that companies still actually strive to make a good design and then follow through on execution. btw, it has never leaked a drop.

The cap functions as you'd expect. Pouring water slowly from the cap doesn't cause it to trail for me along it's side, which is great. If I could improve the cap, I'd add a feature to lock it from opening. Some minor complaints are that I wish the button stuck out a little more (or was bigger) so it'd be easier to press and you need to press down on the cap "relatively hard" for it to lock closed; but it's comparable to other button to open caps I have. Also, if you intentionally try to press down the lid slowly to not fully be closed that it's possible (where it can accidentally open easily since not fully closed; but closing it normally wouldn't cause this to happen realistically as you'd need to press the cap relatively hard to have it be closed). I can't speak for durability yet, but one note is that the mechanism that makes the cap flip out / open automatically is a silicone ring. So if it somehow breaks, even if you had a replacement silicone ring, you wouldn't be able to install it as the metal rod at the hinge is pretty securely in place. The carrying loop seems durable enough to use to carry the bottle. But it's plastic, so it can break given a hard enough impact given it's relative thinness. I haven't found a comparable alternative cap for the type of bottle this cap fits, so it's the best quick access cap out there I could find. Overall, I'd recommend the cap if you want a quick access cap, are okay with no ability to lock the cap from accidental button presses, are okay with a 1.7mm x 0.65mm button, and don't mind pressing relatively hard to close the cap securely (so it doesn't accidentally half close & flip open).

EVERY HYDRO FLASK OWNER (so basically everyone lol) IS MISSING OUT IF THEY DO NOT OWN THIS LID! I do not go out of my way to leave reviews unless it is this amazing and useful in my life. I am eternally grateful that they finally have this new and improved flip top lid for sale. TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY! I hate drinking water without this lid, such a chore. Great company! Great lid! I literally cannot say enough about this. It is probably my favorite product that exists. It is easy, fast, durable, never leaks, sanitary, and has the perfect flow with plenty of water, without spilling all over yourself! Yay, perfect for lazy clumsy me! I have been waiting for months for this to be for sale again, and it was like Christmas morning receiving it. I would recommend this to LITERALLY everyone. My life was missing something with out it. They even sent me a free one for the inconvenience of waiting for them to update the product. Whoever designed this I LOVE YOU! There is not another lid like it on the market for hydroflask fitting lids. I even ordered one for my sister. I just wish everyone had the happiness and convenience that this lid brings to my life. It brings me pure joy. I wish I could give this 6/5 stars, that is how much I love it. Thank you bottlebottle :) Never stop making this, that is all.

I am new to Hydroflask. I got bit by the must have a Hydroflask water bottle, as I'm in my car all day so drink plenty of water. Loving my Hydroflask so far, though I think it's more stylish than actually BETTER? than a Coleman for example which speaking of drinking caps, is the absolute winner!! In any case so Hydroflask, you either get the crappy sports cap..or suck out of a straw or keep unscrewing the cap..which is not acceptable while I drive. Long story short this Bottlebottle cap seems ingenious for Hydroflask, and I hear it works with other brands too. It does NOT leak....I don't really notice it's not insulated, easy to clean..no gunk,..my water stays cold for hours and hours. I took off one star cause mine came without the O ring that makes the lid spring back and stay open. The lid still works, though I will be exchanging it for a new one that hopefully HAS the o ring. Speaking of...seems the o ring may not last a long time from reviews I read,. I hope THEY can improve that....otherwise this is a SUPER idea for Hydroflask...it fits perfectly...and even without the O ring it still works great, other than I have to manually open the cap after I click the button. It would gain a star if it could be insulated....just in case you need that extra confidence. Overall though a GREAT idea....and wish they could improve that O ring..haha in my case at least INCLUDE one...

I broke the top to my generic 16 oz stainless water bottle (pics below — my old broken lid is on the counter as a comparison to what i was looking for when i came here) and found this replacement. It fits! Size was as advertised, and i actually like this mouth-seal better than the old one (3rd and 4th pic show the seal). The seal has a finger-grab tip that makes removing it for cleaning super easy! .. I am more happy about that than i probably should be, by with the original lid i had to use a butter-knife to pry it out — not so difficult with this one. Win. Good job.

I've been using Klean Kanteens for 12 years, and suffering with their inferior caps (either the screw-on version, or the sport top - which is leak-proof, but the mouthpiece is exposed all the time!). I even wrote to Klean Kanteen many years ago and asked if they would make a flip-top cap (they wrote back and told me it was "in development" - like five years ago). I really didn't want to switch to a different brand of bottles, because we have a family's worth of KK's in various sizes, and because the bottles themselves are fantastic. But I REALLY wanted a flip-top cap. Voila! My bestie told me about this beauty and I immediately ordered one. My only complaint is that it doesn't lock (Nalgene On-the-Fly, I'm lookin' at you!!!). However, I've been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn't popped open accidentally yet. That said, I'm careful never to place it in a bag where there are electronics or other water-sensitive items. To wash, I put the cap in the top rack of the dishwasher. I open it and then place the mouth opening, upside-down, over one of the spires of the rack. It stays in place throughout the cycle, no water pools anywhere in the cap, and even the area under the silicone gasket dries quickly. EASY-PEASY makes this mama HAPPY! I wish I could give this 9 stars (10 if it locked!). I'm definitely going to buy more for the rest of the family so we can all enjoy these fabulous, easy-to-keep-clean caps!

I bought this in 2020 and it's still going strong! It beats around in my tote bag and it has never leaked.

this is the only internally threaded cap i found with a spout lid design that fits the MIRA Alpine bottles. if you're unsure of the fitment,, the picture on this product page showing the outer diameter measuring at ~43.2mm is accurate.,, as long as your bottle opening measures within +/- 0.2mm,, and has the threads on the INSIDE of the bottle, then this should fit! it's well designed, durable and the button works great. i'm not sure how long the rubber band keeping the lid closed is going to last,, but it is easy to clean and didn't have any plasticy smells. the handle is a bit flimsy and i wouldn't trust it with my 34oz when full., but it's functional enough and looks slick. however the bottle's vacuum sealing with this cap is not as great as the original cap,,. it no longer has its thermal insulation capacity to keep "hot liquids hot for 12 hrs, cold liquids cold for 24hrs" as these times are slightly reduced with this cap since the spout opening does not form a tight enough seal. my biggest complaint is the cost.., if i hadn't received amazon gift cards- there's no way i would pay $11 out of pocket on this cap for my $15 water bottle.,, the cap shouldn't be >50% the cost of the bottle itself!! $7 is a more worthwhile price for this simple product. for $11, this lid had better last the life of the bottle, or they should offer a warranty on the rubber band at least

great product. I use it at night, and it keeps my drink cold and leak proof. Much easier to use with a flip up lid in the dark. veryimpressed.
