Solid paint
Used on some household items I wanted to dip in gold. Went in smooth. No clumping. Good coverage. Looks great.

Excellent
Worked great!

Beautiful finish
Beautiful color, high quality finish, spray can sprays amazingly with its thin atomization tip for nice even light coats. These wheels got a MATTE clear coat as requested by my customer, the normal gloss finish also looks incredible before they got the matte clear

Nice Paint - Far Cheaper Than A Professional Wheel Refinish
Ok, full disclosure: in order to do this job correctly (refinishing 4 wheels) I believe you need to set aside the best part of a day for sanding and prep (if your wheels are in bad shape) and another for painting. This is a job best done by two or more people. Having used Dupli Color for a successful refinish on some chipped/flaking rear view mirrors, we went with this brand again for the wheels and were glad we did. We bought Rustoleum self etching primer and Dupli Color paint and clear for a 2007 Scion TC. The wheels appeared to have a failed Plasti Dip that looked like they had been through a fire. After fully sanding the clear and toning down the curb rash, we used 3x5 index cards to make a protective curtain (for the tire) and duct taped the cards on both sides. This item could be moved from wheel to wheel during paint operations. (I would have used playing cards if I had to do it again as they are thicker and would hold up to the paint/moisture better). Three coats of prime, paint, and clear later (using a table to get them off the ground and to allow the wheels to be rotated for even coats and full coverage front and back) the wheels look like new. [NOTE: A plastic trigger adapter for the spray cans is really a good idea as it eases hand/finger fatigue and I believe results in more even coats). We have gotten a number of compliments on how great they look. So far, about 3 months later, the paint is holding well with no chipping or flaking. A local outfit quoted $150 per rim for this operation. All in (2 cans primer, paint, clear each or 6 cans total) we were all in about $70 for all 4 wheels. This is hard work and best for someone with some shop experience as you need to jack up the car, remove the wheels and re-torque to spec on re-installation to do a proper job, but if you are so inclined you may be surprised at how good the job looks when you are all said and done. Opinions vary, but I would recommend this over Plasti Dip as it seems like it will last longer and touch ups of any chips or curb rash will likely be easier.

Perfect match! Easy DIY
Great buy! Perfect match for my sliver wheels. I currently had some curb rashes on my Enkei wheels. I decided to take it upon myself to do this simple DIY project. This can be down with the wheels still on the car, but much easier when they are off. You can easily touch up without needing to paint the whole wheel, it will blend nicely if done correctly. Things you will need:1)This paint 2) 220 & 400 Grit sandpaper 3) Wax and grease remover (or something to THOROUGHLY clean your wheels) 4) Glazing and Spot Putty (Depending how bad the curb rash or scratch might be) 5) MOST IMPORTANT some patience *The utmost important step is the prep work, you should spend a good amount of time prepping the wheel(s) for the paint. First, I used 220 grit sandpaper and sanded down the areas that I was planning on touching up (smoothing it out). Then, MOST important step is to THOROUGHLY clean your wheels with some wax and grease remover (or something safe on wheels of course, don't use just water and rag). Now your ready to fill in those scratches before paint, depending how bad the curb rash is or how deep the scratch(s) might be. I already had some "Glazing and Spot Putty" which is used on exterior of the car to fill in scratches. I confirmed that it was indeed safe to go ahead and use the "Premium Glazing and Spot Putty" on the scratches on the wheel. I actually had "Dupli-Color Automotive Touch-up Repair Kit" which came with the "Glazing and Spot Putty". Use your fingers to apply it on the scratch, thus filling it in. And use your finger to smooth it out. OR if you prefer to use something else like a card, go ahead. But personally I found it a lot easier and came out better when I used my fingers to apply the "Glazing and Spot Putty." Wait for it to dry (how ever long that might be), then your ready to sand it down once again. I had some 400 grit sandpaper which I used to re-sand down the area(s) where the putty was applied. Sand very lightly with the 400 grit, the idea is just to smooth out the putty you just applied and get out any excess putty that may have been over applied. Second to last step, is to once again clean your wheels to remove any excess dust from sanding and also any other dirt that may have shown up on the wheels as you were working with them. Lastly before your ready to paint, you will need to mask off a few areas before your ready to paint if your planning on leaving the wheels on the car. Tape around the wheel itself and also cover up the tire as well. Take a garbage bag cut it in half and make sure you cover your rotors and disc breaks etc. Now, your finally ready to paint. You don't need to apply any primer (only if your changing the wheel color.) Lightly spray the areas you've just been working on. Wait 10-15 mins inbetween each coat. Apply at least 3-4 coats. Wait about an hour or two before you use the car again. Oh yeah, Fast shipping as well! Haha

Goes on smooth, good coverage and good graphite color
Used this color on my Toyota aluminum wheels (applied epoxy primer first) goes on smooth and looks great. Highly recommend.

Sprays smoothly!
Two cans were enough to spray all 4 rims, but having an extra third can was very helpful.

Bit sparkly, but does the job
A bit sparkly but looks even after a few coats and overall effect looks good on the hubcaps.

Not worth it
Not what I accepted for the price I paid. Does not even come close to the chrome shine. Same as the 99 cent spray
