This is by no means a climbing , complete false advertisement. There are zero marking on it to denote it's rating or class. The carabineers are not even stamped with a rating. I would not trust this line for more than a expensive clothes line. Do not use for climbing or anything that involves safety

Product is dangerously mislabeled. This is not a climbing rope! Climbing with a static rope will get you killed. I got it thinking I could use it to set up anchor for top roping outside...I should have known better than to trust anything other than an established climbing brand.The supplied carabiners are complete garbage. They have sharp exposed edges and threads that could damage a real climbing rope and lead to an equipment failure and you can imagine what that looks like at 50 to 100ft off of the ground! On top of that, they don't have any CE markings and more concerning still, no Kn rating stamp. Everything you use for climbing should be designed to absorb the force that is generated by a fall and should have a Kn rating demonstrating it has been tested to withstand such force.If this company is willing to misrepresent a static rope as a climbing rope and provide equipment not rated for climbing as climbing equipment, do you really want to trust your life to their $18 rope.

Got it for hiking gorges in the finger lakes. Works perfectly and is very well made and sturdy. Don't let the price or the made in China label fool you, this is good stuff, definitely heavy duty.

Ok so this is an honest review and some might see it as mixed. I ordered 4 of these 32’ length for safety ascending and descending lines for deer stands. I previously ordered a 10.5mm static line that was a little more expensive and looked at these when they were cheaper. Reviews were great. I just received them today. Was impressed, they came in nice little yellow drawstring nylon bags for storage. However; when I removed them from the bag I immediately noticed something didn’t seem right. The description of this product states its 10mm. That’s why I bought them. These ropes ARE NOT 10mm. They are just under 9mm. I immediately went back to the product description and it clearly says 10mm in the product heading. As I went on to read the very last descriptor it says this is an 8mm rope. Another fantastic description that is wrong that Amazon doesn’t vet when they sell the product. This rope does seem to be high quality and will work for what I purchased them for. Just know that this rope is not 10mm, measures just shy of 9mm and is supposed be 8mm according to the last line of the manufacturers description.

TL;DR Good buy, not for saving you from a drop but to keep you from dropping.Because this is a static rope its not meant for Extreme climbing. It doesn't stench like a climbing rope would, you would break your back falling off a wall. However for light stuff, climbing a tree or a small wall you should be fine but you will still hurt your back with a half harness.I was able to use this for pulling my truck out of the mud, wrapping it around the tow hitch on both ends a couple of times to make it thicc and it was able to hold just fine.

Great rope with user friendly clips on either end. I am using this as a porch lead for my daughter's two dogs who I watch when I come and visit but can't trust out on their own in the front yard. The rope keeps them safe, it doesn't wear like other dog leashes do on the cement and the cement stairs. This rope is sturdy and doing the trick. Love it. Thank you.S. Bought this to practice rappelling & harnessing situations as we learn canyoneering. Bought the 160 ft version. So far the rope has performed perfectly. Static, stiff enough to provide some of its own resistance going through rappelling scarabs yet still workable. We're newbies and taking this one step at a time, though, so we don't bring a whole lot of knowledge & experience to the table. But this rope has performed admirably. It comes with hardwoven metal-reinforced loops at each end.

This was a nice rope for awhile. It only lasted for 8 month outside before UV destroyed its strength. I still use the broken portion as a dog rope on the harness when my dog goes swimming.
