The Right to ShowerBar Soap Dignity, 7 Ounce

I wanted to love this. I do love the idea. I love the eco-friendly packaging. I love the mission. I HATE the product. The more I used it the worse it got. It leaves a sticky/waxy film in your hair that increases with each use. Eventually I couldn't even get a wide tooth comb through my hair. This is particularly notable because I have fine, perfectly strait, chin length hair. It is extremely easy to comb or brush my hair, even when wet. Except it was nearly impossible after using this shampoo. A week after I stopped using it I still had residue. My hair was so sticky my hairdresser thought I had product in my hair when I showed up for my appointment, but it was just this shampoo.

Bogus "cottage industry" looking soap actually produced by a huge conglomerate. Don't fall for the false marketing and packaging. Inregret purchasing this and will not do so again.

Bought it for the cause. Not impressed with the product. Made my hair feel dirty. Gave it time to see if it would get better. It did not. Even started coating my brushes and combs.I've used other shampoo bars and did not have this problem.

I'm not the kind of person to see a lot of difference in soap. I this soap is mostly impressive because it is cheap and goes to a good cause. I'm happy that it is vegan and advertises that it is vegan so I don't have to guess. Personally, I find it a little to "soapy", caused by whatever is used to make it foam and the fragrance. It leaves that soap taste in my mouth. I don't usually use soaps that make a lot of suds and foam. The smell is strong if you like that sort of thing. I was looking for a charcoal soap, and tried this one. I like the cause, but I really don't like to use anything with fragrance it in. But for people who like a good smell strength and foaming, this is a great soap. Oh, and it makes my skin soft.

I first bought this soap at Whole Foods, but out was unavailable the last time I was in and I believe they stopped caring this scent.Both my skin and nose are very sensitive, so it can be hard to find a good soap that works for my skin type, but this stuff is great! The scent is pleasant but very light and the soap is good quality and doesn't leave my skin too dry or too oily. It also seems to lay longer than a lot of soaps I've used in the past and it doesn't get goopy like some others do.

I use this as a shampoo bar and it works very well on my fine, straight hair. It leaves it just as clean as more traditional shampoos and I have no problem with build up.I have used all four scents over the last couple years and, while they all smell great, I like the green one the most.The bar lasts a good 5 months or so with daily washes, which is much longer than regular bottled shampoo. Plus, there's no plastic packaging.

I have already decided that I wanted to stick with this brand for my (almost) every cleansing need. I already tried the Joy and Aloe scents, this was my chance to add to my collection and decide what would be my favorite and switch it up according to mood for the day.The reason for my score is because I have NO IDEA what the dignity scent smells like since I was given the wrong one. I got a Joy instead of Dignity. I'll take it, but now I have to make another purchase to get the other 2 scents.

This came up as a bar shampoo on searches, seems to say that's what it is in it's description but it functions just like regular soap. Does not lather well on hair and leaves hair feeling kind of sticky or stiff. Just not great. But really nice as just soap.
