TC8210-DT Classic Mixing Reverb Plug-in with Optional Hardware Controller and Signature Presets

I have been wanting this unit for a while now. And I was shopping for other things and it popped up for $28.!!! I could not turn it down. As one previous reviewer said, it is way smaller than I thought it was. But I couldn’t be more happier with the sound. I put my computer up to let you know that it does work with the M1 MacBooks. So don’t let anyone tell you different. Overall, grab it while it’s on sale. You won’t regret it. I mean. You pay more for just software, right.!?!? With this, you get a controller to go with it. Too many people complain about dongles. I will be the first to tell you there is nothing like having a unit at your fingertips where you don’t have to use your eyes a lot. You can just listen. So much more musically satisfying. But to each is own, I get it. It’s not for everyone. But it is for me.

If you are running a home studio or you just want to buy a gift for your artist/producer friends, this may be a perfect choice. First, the plugin reverb sound amazing and having some top-tier professional reverb algorithm like reverb 4000 (which used to be a hardware reverb from Tc-Electronic). Second, it include a small hardware controller that can control your TC8210 directly without using your mouse! The buttons are on point letting you explore and modify each setting in a second. Plus, it look beautiful! Last but not least, the price of this plugin + hardware controller is very affordable now! You cant even buy a single plugin alone with this price! After using it for a while, I find that I almost grab TC8210 everytime I need a reverb. It is that good.

Absolutely worth every penny. Great reverbs. The two reverbs TC is pairing with these outboard units are excellent every-day-use plugins. The hardware is icing on the cake! I have seven, mounted on my desk into the docking station, which also operates as a USB hub for all the "pedals." While the plugins are all worthwhile, the 8210 is a world class reverb plugin that might become your go-to reverb! Wonderful!

I have tried several plugin reverbs. I'm a big fan of Pure Ambient Drone aka PAD and he is very approachable on social media. And so I reached out to him for some advice on reverb plugins. He makes a lot of ambient music and so I picked his brain on this topic. He suggested this one and a few others but really said he like this unit a lot. It was on sale and a no brainer so I grabbed it up asap. SO GLAD I DID! The unit interface is great and my PC recognized it right off with no problems. The spacious sounds this reverb gives is wonderful and believable and doesn't eat up a ton of pc resources like many other plugins of this type do. Grab one if you get the chance while it's on sale!

I grabbed this because I was curious what TC was up to here and didn't want to jump on the 2290 right away. I am an 80s baby and seeing the TC front panels sparked a primal urge to buy. Now, that said, this particular little baby is great mounted on my electronic drum kit where I can get to it. That is VERY handy. Don't know if I need something like this or a fancy 2290 front end on my desk, even if I can hold it to the skies and yell "2290! I have arrived!" There are better desktop controller solutions, but in a rack this is throwback heaven.

I own several other TC electronic icon controllers including the DVR250 reverb so I was not looking to get another but when the price dropped that low I bit. Glad I did, I like this one better than the DVR250. I must have at least a dozen different plug in reverbs but this is the one I go to first.

I have been waiting for a loooooong time to grab one of these and after receiving the DVR 250 as a Christmas gift I went ahead and grabbed this one. I couldn’t beat the price. I have used it on a track already and can tell it’s going to become a go to tool for future projects.
