I'm using them to hang the paintings I'm making now that I'm bedridden and trying to make sentimental things, like paintings for my family and future family I'll never get to meet, like future grandchildren. My canvases are thin as I think the thickness is just wasteful but just my preference, so I can't use the screws that came with it, but my husband will use them at some point I'm sure. I had to take clear gorilla glue to put on the back, I scratched away the layer of paper on the back where I'm placing it so it adheres better, then I bought silver flat thumb tacks and with small wire cutters I cut them down at an angle so it goes through but not show from the front, I then place the hanger with the glue on it in the area I prepped, I then push in the tack flat and put something heavy on it overnight, to be safe. I built custom shadowboxes for skateboards and bought these to hang them on the wall. The shadowbox weighs about 8 pounds and these hold them up without issue. One of the boxes is hung without a stud because of where I wanted to place it, and this still feels very sturdy. I hung these with a wire between 2 D-rings and it was really easy to make them level

These hooks are sturdy and strong. 4 stars because some of the hooks are not folded precisely so the holes don't line up. This doesn't effect me but it may effect someone else. Also the hook part comes off at a slight angle. I glue these to the back of my metal prints so I can hang them. I have to glue the hook at a slight angle so it hangs straight. Again no big deal, but it could be for someone else.

Purpose solved.

I used these to hang heavy ornamental signs on my deck. They were easy to install and have great functionality. With a variety of ways to attach these - I used glue for some and screws or nails for others - these make hanging decorations easy!

Just the right amount of framers d rings. Great price. Would be nice if the screw were 1/2" for the larger d rings.
